Sari Schorr ‘Live In Europe’ will be out on Manhaton Records on Friday 6th March, followed by her biggest European tour yet, comprising over 32 dates across the continent and the UK in March and April, that includes supporting Robin Trower at London's Islington Assembly Hall on Sunday 26th April. Sari’s brand-new, 12-track live album was recorded on the last tour, and serves as a perfect illustration of why you’ll want to catch the next one. We are treated to the passion of original songs from her two studio albums and two reworked covers, 'Black Betty' and 'I Just Want To Make Love To You', both hot favourites with audiences. These stunning live recordings from across Europe, along with two previously-unreleased acoustic tracks recorded for the BBC, truly make this album an object of desire.

After bringing the house down at Chelsea's Under the Bridge, early last year (pictured and Video Of The Day), legendary Prog outfit Atomic Rooster are back by popular demand in London tonight, but this time at the iconic 100 Club. Formed from the ashes of the The Crazy World of Arthur Brown in 1969, their debut gig was at the Lyceum in London (supported by Deep Purple) and their first self-titled album was released in February 1970. It was after the release of 'Death Walks Behind You' that they had their first taste of UK chart success with 'Tomorrow Night' and 'Devil’s Answer'. And talking of Chelsea, just up the road tonight at Putney's The Half Moon, Born Healer are supporting Vincent Flatts Final Drive.

Wishbone Ash, one of the most important and influential Rock bands in music history, will celebrate their 50th anniversary, with the release of their consummate new studio album, ‘Coat Of Arms’, on Friday 28th February on Steamhammer/SPV, including lead single and today's Video Of The Day, ‘We Stand As One’, which was shot at the band’s packed-out Islington 02 Academy concert in London last October. It's a real Heavy Rock anthem in the spirit of Wishbone Ash classics such as ‘The Warrior’, featuring awesome guitar sounds that their fans will love. ‘Coat Of Arms’, while still heavily featuring Wishbone Ash’s characteristic twin lead guitar licks, haunting melodies and distinctive stylistic facets, is anything but retrospective and evenly balances the past, present and future with a huge breath of fresh air.

German-American band Serious Black is back with a bang with their highly anticipated fourth studio killer album 'Suite 226' released at the end of last month, which has stirred the Power Metal community's blood. After three successful predecessors and more than 120 shows worldwide, they used their well-deserved time-out to design new concepts, to work on fresh material and, by the way, to build their own studio! Unlike their previous 'Mirrorworld' and 'Magic' releases, which are much more Hard Rock, 'Suite 226' features more driving guitars, catchy hooks and finest riffing, similar to their other album, 'As Daylight Breaks'. Following their third album, 'Magic', a concept album about the story of mysterious Mr. Nightmist, a witch and a lot of magic, 'Suite 226' also tells a complete narrative of a mentally confused man who is torn between his own dreamworld, reality and evil.

Channeling elements of Rock, Pop and punches of Punk attitude, New Pagans have got their new luscious single ‘Admire’ dropping on Valentine's Day, joining their previous singles ‘Charlie Has The Face Of A Saint’ and the raucous ‘It’s Darker’ (today's Track Of The Day). The new single will be shortly followed by the release of their debut EP 'Glacial Erratic' on Friday 6th March, during their newly announced UK tour, performing all their new material, including London's The Lounge, Archway, the following day. Their sonic expressions sit them amongst the likes of Wolf Alice and Black Honey with Pixie-esque influences that has already earned them tonnes of radio airwaves support.

Waiting For Monday is a Melodic Rock band formed by Los Angeles based singer Rudy Cardenas and guitarist/vocalist August Zadra who release their eponymous debut album next Friday 14th February, including 'End Of A Dream', today's Track Of The Day. Brought to the attention of Frontiers by Jeff Scott Soto, the label moved quickly to sign them based on their decidedly modern approach to the chart topping melodies of the likes of Journey, Styx and Foreigner. Originally from Venezuela, Cardenas is an incredible vocal talent. His pipes carried him all the way to the finals of American Idol and he has been heard on numerous TV shows and movies. Zadra is best known for handling lead guitar and vocal duties in the solo band of iconic singer Dennis DeYoung. Guitar playing has been a passion since his teens and has taken him from Fairbanks, Alaska to Hollywood, California, where he has been in the music scene for two decades and is often sought out as a guitarist/vocalist collaborator for recording projects. The band line-up is completed by Walter Ino (guitar and keyboards), Eric Baines (bass) and Joe Travers (drums).

Bay Area Thrashers Heathen released their tenth Anniversary remastered reissue of ‘The Evolution of Chaos' via Mascot Records at the end of last month, which included today's Video Of The Day, 'Control By Chaos'. When the album was originally released back in January 2010, it was the band’s first album of new material in eighteen years and saw them ride a wave of the resurgent Thrash scene. The line-up consisted of vocalist David White, guitarist Lee Altus, guitarist Kragen Lum, percussionist Darren Minter plus late bassist Jon Torres, who also wrote the new unreleased bonus track, ‘Seasons of Purgatory’.

Heretic Fest is Sheffield’s newest indoor Rock & Metal music festival, which is being held at Corporation, 2 Milton Street S1 4JU, from midday on Sunday 3rd May. Headlining are the mighty Inglorious, who are joined by Cellar Door Moon Crow, Shadow Smile, The Dukes Of Bordello, The Addiction, Wolf Within, Baranovich and CPSD. This really is one not to be missed!

"The band sounded well rehearsed and executed the songs with unbridled passion and vigour! The set kicked off in style with some far-out Psychedelic exploration in the form of 'Bubbles' and 'Phoenix Rising', before the entire side one of the 1968 ‘The Crazy World of Arthur Brown’ album was played, including the songs 'Nightmare', 'Fire Poem', 'Fire', 'Come and Buy', 'Time' and 'Confusion'. Arthur was clearly enjoying himself, leaping, whirling and thrashing all over the stage whilst belting out the lyrics with the zeal and zest of a man half his age! Tall in stature and slim of build and quite obviously fit as a fiddle! The enticing 'Sunrise' from the 1971 Kingdom Come album ‘Galactic Zoo Dossier’ greeted us next. A cosmic and haunting performance with intense magisterial vocals from the Brown!" Today read the whole of Steven C. Indeed, that was not the only filming that took place that night, as the following day on both the BBC National and Local News there was a feature on the iconic club being given special status as part of a scheme to protect grassroots music venues. The venue, which traces its history back to 1942, is the first to benefit from business rate relief but Westminster plans to extend it to other venues that qualify.
