The Chicago guitar legend has worked with some of the biggest names in Blues, including John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, Junior Wells, Bobby Blue Bland and Buddy Guy. Indeed, the venue is sacred ground - the original premises where Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies started out in 1962! Hosted by The Paul Cook Blues Band, there was also sets from special guests Robert Hokum, Emma Wilson and Half Moon Panic.

Not only are multi-platinum selling Rock band X Ambassadors playing London's sold out Lafayette in Kings Cross tonight, but they also release their new EP, 'Belong', on Friday 6th March which features ‘Everything Sounds Like A Love Song’, which is today's Track Of The Day. Earlier, down the road, Camden Rocks Festival presents an all-day Rock-n-Roll bonanza featuring Enterfire, Fuzz Skyler, Louzada, Grace Solerol, Askari, Whisky Stain, Terrorisers, You Over Me and Fixer at The Latin Groove Lounge Club from 2.30pm. Finally, the Robert J. Hunter Band hit the Blues At Barleylands stage at 2pm, at Barleylands Social Club, Barleylands Road, Billericay CM11 2UF, whilst later, Classic Rock covers band Thickcut will be performing live and for free at 8.30pm at The Monument, Northbrook Street, Newbury.

Nearly three years after we last saw them, Dream Theater returned to London's Hammersmith Apollo last night for the first of two nights as part of their Distance Over Time Tour - Celebrating 20 Years of 'Scenes From A Memory', which saw the band perform a full and complete 3-hour set! Indeed, both shows were/are being flmed for future release and the band's request for their fans to make themselves heard did not fall on deaf ears - an opportunity, as they also said, for us to immortalise ourselves in Dream Theater concert film history! "The encore was the 25 minute suite 'A Change of Seasons'. A fitting end - this was recorded around the time of 'Images and Words' but was released separately. The near sell out crowd lapped it all up and before long it was all over and we were spilling out into the London night. Stray and Ken Pustelnik's The Groundhogs begin a full UK co-headlining tour at Sutton's Boom Boom next Tuesday 25th February, which stops off on the way at London's The Garage (including Vambo) on Thursday 12th March, and concludes at Buckley's The Tivoli on Saturday 21st March. Not only will Stray be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut album, but The Groundhogs will also be celebrating the golden anniversary of their seminal ‘Thank Christ for the Bomb’ album.

Check out today our Photo Gallery here from Monday night at London's Hammersmith Eventim Apollo - as the cream of Rock turned out to pay tribute to Peter Edward 'Ginger' Baker - a one-time only concert from Eric Clapton to celebrate the musical life of his dear friend. It was certainly a case of quality not quantity, as the 100 minute set list honoured Baker's lifetime in music and included Clapton and Baker's work together in Cream and Blind Faith. Cue performances from Paul Carrack, Steve Winwood, Roger Waters, Nile Rodgers, Ronnie Wood, Kofi Baker, Kenney Jones and Will Johns, amongst others, of which the highlights were Clapton and Wood performing 'Badge' (Video Of The Day) plus a Kofi drum solo that his old man would have truly been proud of.
