Buck and Evans released their sumptuous debut album, ‘Write A Better Day’ last Friday, and tonight the band are playing London's iconic 100 Club as part of their eight-date UK tour, with Planet Rock Radio’s Paul Anthony introducing the band at 9pm with support from Sweet Crisis at 8pm. 'Write A Better Day' sees the Cardiff based Rock and Soul band, fronted by vocalist Sally Ann Evans, along with effusive guitar player Chris Buck, drummer Bob Richards and bassist Dominic Hill, creating a perfect blend of youthful energy and traditionalism, on eleven finely crafted songs. Meanwhile, due to phenomenal demand, Nashville based A Thousand Horses have upgraded the venue for their show tonight, moving from the intimate room at 229 Venue, to the much bigger main room. The evening will see the band give fans an exclusive preview of new material from their forthcoming new album set for release next year.

The Planet Rock AllStars single 'You're The Voice' will be released on Friday 6th December, to raise money herefor mental health charity Mind, while a limited-edition CD version costing £5 will be available to buy throughout DJ Wyatt Wendels latest epic Road 2 Rockstock 2 cycle trek. Wyatt will be covering 2,000 miles in two weeks, visiting landmarks and famous music venues on the way, whilst averaging 135 miles a day for fifteen consecutive days. The “rocked up” version of John Farnham’s 1986 global smash hit is the brainchild of Wendels, recorded by the band featuring Wyatt himself on drums, Sam Wood (Wayward Sons) - guitars, Dave Kemp (Wayward Sons) - keyboards, Nick Fyffe (The Temperance Movement) - bass and Toby Jepson, of Wayward Sons and Little Angels fame, on vocals and percussion -who also produced the track. Recorded at Vale Studios in Worcestershire, numerous Rock royalty also feature on the track including Alice Cooper, Joe Elliot (Def Leppard), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Chris Robertson (Black Stone Cherry) and many more.

Double Crush Syndrome released their second album 'Death To Pop' at the end of last month, after their debut 'Die For Rock 'n' Roll' via Arising Empire, and 'Cocaine Lips' off the new album is today's Video Of The Day. Deeply rooted in Punk Rock and Metal, they are fronted by singer and guitarist Andy Brings, a true enfant terrible and successful filmmaker, plus Slick Prolidol on bass, vocals, and Markus Herzog on drums. And you catch them next year on their 'Death To Pop' European tour which includes London's Grace on Wednesday 15th January.

"They started with 'Gaza', ended with 'This Strange Engine' and were fantastic for over two and a half hours. Monday night is going to be special." Praise indeed from our WRC spy at Marillion's Cliffs Pavilion, Southend, gig last Friday, and tonight the band play the penultimate night of their thirteen-date 'With Friends from the Orchestra' UK tour at London's Royal Albert Hall. With an extended line up of musicians joining Steve Rothery – electric/acoustic guitars, Pete Trewavas – bass guitar, backing vocals, Mark Kelly – keyboards, samples and effects, backing vocals, programming and Ian Mosley – drums, percussion, they will be playing songs spanning their 14 album-career with Steve Hogarth, lead vocals, lyrics, keyboards, guitars, percussion - who we recently had the pleasure of interviewing here (today's Track Of The Day) - this year celebrating 30 years since joining Marillion. The shows will also feature the In Praise of Folly String Quartet plus Sam Morris on French horn and Emma Halnan on flute, featured on select numbers.

The last time we saw The Cinelli Brothers was supporting 2018 WRC Best Blues Rock performance award winner Bernie Marsden at London's Under The Bridge on St. David's Day this year (pictured). Well tonight, Marco (guitarist and lead singer) and Alessandro (drummer), return to London for the third in a series of monthly Sunday Blues nights at the Tropic in Ruislip, West London. If you want to keep music live, then you can still turn up and pay £12 on the door. Doors open at 7.30pm with live music from 8.15pm, finishing by 10.30pm.

"Drummer Ryan decides that drumming needs something different. So introduces an air raid siren to the mix. Which he gleefully winds up to a frenzy before Joel kicks in from the top of the Marshall stacks into 'Live It Up'. He then proceeds to throw beers to the crowd – "Lets be like the English cricket team and catch these" he shouts to everyone’s joy. They close with their anthemic 'Runnin’ Wild', with a few bars of 'Let There Be Rock' thrown in for good measure, to leave the howling crowd wanting more." That was part of our take on Airbourne (Video Of The Day) at Ramblin' Man Fair in July this year, and the Oz Rockers are back on tour in the UK, including Newcastle's O2 Academy tonight.

Tal Wilkenfeld, the Australian-born, LA-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has recorded and toured with several legends including Jeff Beck, Prince, The Allman Brothers, Mick Jagger and Herbie Hancock, plays a sold out Ronnie Scott's in London tonight (6pm and 10.30pm) as she continues her ‘Love Remains’ tour which has seen her opening for The Who and headline her own North American dates. Also today Camden Rocks presents another Rock-n-Roll bonanza featuring Khartoum + Slow Mojo + Rhyn + The Ancient Unknown + Poolhouse + Andy John Jones + Lend Me The Twelve + Luca Mo + Burnt Tongues + Passifs - all live at The Monarch between 12.30pm and 9pm. Finally today, The Mike Ross Band will be taking to the Blues At Barleylands stage at 2pm at Barleylands Social Club, Barleylands Road, Billericay CM11 2UF.
