  • We're Not Worthy! 29 April 2015

As we quite often say at the WRC "you couldn't make it up"! Anyway our daily WRC tweet on Monday heralded Wrinkly The Silver's cracking review of the recent Skynyrd gig and it was subsequently favourited by Bad Company legend Mick Ralphs who guested with the Southern rockers late on. "I feel humble in the extreme" WTS added - anyway any excuse for a bit of Bad Company hence our VOTD is a live 1974 vid of Ralphs iconic 'Can't Get Enough' - the very same year AJ saw them supporting The Who at Charlton :-)

  • Kings Lay Down The Tracks! 12 March 2015

The Iron Horse in Sidcup is renowned in the past for its leaning towards heavy metal bands. Not any longer as was witnessed last Sunday afternoon as the Kings of Oblivion rode into town - admittedly the name does suggest links with the dark side but that couldn't be further from the truth writes Wrinkly. Read his review here.

  • 'BOTR' - Under The Influence! 12 March 2015

Bookended by tracks by 'Bad Influence' before their recent show at The Tuesday Night Music Club - we have some of the greatest new music you could hope to hear as our 'Track Of The Day'. Richard Dunning's latest 'Blues On The Radio' podcast includes artists who are appearing at The European Blues Challenge, a clutch of artists from the 'Blind Racoon' stable and songs from both favourites and new artists - a veritable feast of the best music around - including BluesRockfest's The Troy Redfern Band (pictured). For ticket information on BluesRockfest go here or for discounted ticket info (if you are a WRC member or want to become a WRC member) go here.

If you have any you would like to add or if you are in any of them - then please e-mail us through the contact box below. Cheers!

  • Route 66 To Europe! 10 March 2015

The bad news is that by the time you listen to Rory Auskerry's latest 'Track Of The Day' it will be too late to win Europe gig tickets - unless you entered the competition last week! The good news is that this week's Route 66 podcast contains the best in Rock and Blues including of course Europe, The Rolling Stones (pictured at Hyde Park in 2013), Van Halen and Italian Blues Rockers, the Jimi Barbiani Band!

  • Bob's In The Picture! 18 Feb 2015

It was also great to meet one of our new WRC members at the Blacktop Deluxe/Loose Moorings gig. Step forward Bob Wilson who took some amazing photos on the night that really put our paltry efforts to shame. Anyway, we've added Bob's pictures to our Photo Gallery here - enjoy and thanks once again Bob! Remember you can still fill out a form here and we'll subsequently send you a WRC members card which you can use to benefit from all the current members offers which we also hope to add to in the future e.g. the Virgil & The Accelerators/Loose Moorings gig and our offer of £8 tickets to members only!

  • Head To The Vault! 9 Feb 2015

Thanks to Andy Jay for his vid of Ryan Bingham performing 'Hallelujah' at the 100 Club last Monday - which we have added amongst others to our new 2015 Video Vault. If you have any other live 2015 gig vids you would like to share then simply e-mail us through the contact box below.

  • John's On The Bull At Rockrpix! 12 Feb 2015

Following yesterday's spotlight on Lemonrock - we thought it only fair to feature another one of our sponsors - Rockrpix. The testimonials John Bull has received for his gig photography are only surpassed by the photos themselves as evidenced last year at both our Wrinklystock and Bluesfest! Anyway, don't just take our word for it - go to Rockrpix's website here where you can see for yourself and get further information on how to hire John for your gig. And if your business has something that you feel would appeal to the many visitors to our site - then don't be shy - just get in touch as we would be delighted to hear from any new sponsors which can help towards the maintenance of our website! Cheers!

  • John Verity/The Unknown Photo Gallery Available! 25/1/16

Well what a great night Saturday night was at our first WRC Promotions gig of the year at Leos Red Lion, Gravesend. As expected Blues Man JV and his band blew the roof off The Red Lion - but the added bonus was the excellent support band The Unknown - so much so that we dipped into the WRC coffers and bought their first album 'Into The Unknown'. Anyway have a gander at our photo gallery here, check out their Vid Of The Day plus also watch out for a review coming over the next few days.
