Guitarist and vocalist Eric Gales is back with another new track 'Somethings Gotta Give' (today's Video Of The Day) that features three-time Grammy nominated and Emmy Award winning vocalist B. Slade. It is taken from his upcoming new album ‘The Bookends’, which is out on Friday 8th February via Provogue/Mascot Label Group, with his band featuring Mono Neon (bass), Aaron Haggerty (drums), LaDonna Gales (backing vocals, percussion) and Dylan Wiggins (organ). Gales’ story is an incredible one, he was a child prodigy and released his debut album 'The Eric Gales Band' in 1991 as a 16 year old on Elektra Records. It was the first of 10 albums on a major label through a blistering career. He has released 15 studio albums in total ahead of ‘The Bookends’ and a host of other collaborations. He has battled drink and drug issues and spent time in jail in 2009 for possession of drugs and a weapon.

'Trust Yourself' with Turner's 'Joplinesque' groovy, gravelly voice and tangible stage presence, was a great foot stomping romp with a great riff from Black. Taj Mahal's 'Leaving Trunk' grooved and rocked in true 60's/70's style whilst 'Brand New Day' emphasised the tightness of a band excelling in all the right places." Tonight the band return to London's iconic 100 Club for Tuesday Blues sandwiched in between headliners Crow Black Chicken and Vincent Flatts Final Drive.

Last night we were fortunate enough to attend the launch of Steve Hackett's new album 'At The Edge Of Light' at Crystal Palace's Everyman Cinema, which was introduced by Steve himself and was followed by a playback of the new album. Following the tremendous success of 2017’s ‘The Night Siren’, the legendary former Genesis guitarist releases the album this Friday 25th January, which features ten songs and sees Steve unite a vast amount of styles ranging from guitar driven Rock to epic orchestration, from world music to the reflective and atmospheric, all brought together in Steve Hackett’s unique style. To coincide with its release we aim to broadcast an interview with Steve this Friday, but in the meantime check out the first single from the new album 'Under The Eye Of The Sun', which is today's Video Of The Day.

Papa Roach released their tenth studio album last Friday - 'Who Do You Trust?' via Eleven Seven Music'. The 12-track anthemic album features heavy guitars and catchy hooks on title track 'Who Do You Trust?' (Track Of The Day), the exhilaratingly chaotic 'Renegade Music', the soaring Pop of 'Not The Only One' and a return to frontman Jacoby Shaddix’s MC roots on 'Elevate'. Papa Roach will embark on a global trek for 'WDYT' beginning with a short run of underplay venues at six sold-out shows in their home state of California. Following a headline stint on Shiprocked they join Shinedown and Asking Alexandria on the 2019 North American leg of the Attention! Attention! World Tour. The band then head to the UK in April (with Nothing More supporting) including London's O2 Forum on Wednesday 17th as well as playing some European festival dates. Then it’s back to the US for a headline tour!

Following gigs at Wolverhampton's The Slade Rooms on Friday night and Manchester Club Academy on Saturday night, Francis Dunnery played the final of three exclusive UK dates at London's Bush Hall last night with a full electric band performing songs from 'The Big Lad In The Windmill'. Dunnery is the guitar virtuoso and original It Bites front man, best known for their top 10 hit 'Calling All The Heroes' and he was joined on a memorable night by special guest Guthrie Govan (Asia/Steven Wilson). The penultimate night of London Blues Week, The Princess of Rockin' Gospel Blues, Sharrie, co-headlined with Sari, a modern-day hybrid of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner, on a mouthwatering double bill. The good news is that if you missed Sari, she returns to London's Koko supporting King King on Thursday 7th February and then Twickenham's Eel Pie Club exactly a month later.

He has worked as a solo artist since 1990, carving out a career of modern Rock and Blues and various side projects. In 2013 Dunnery put together The Sensational Francis Dunnery Electric Band, which toured songs by his late brother's 70's Rock band Necromandus along with material from the Francis Dunnery back catalogue.

Rosy Vista, Germany’s first female Hard Rock band, who thrived between 1984 and 1989 before imploding and going their own separate ways, have reunited to record their impressive debut album ‘Unbelievable’, set for release on Steamhammer/SPV on Friday 8th February. Formed by guitarist Anca Graterol, Rosy Vista had released two singles and one professionally produced EP, plus performed spectacular concerts alongside legends like Uriah Heep, Joe Cocker, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and Mötley Crüe, before they split up at the end of the 80’s with their career dream of releasing a proper album still unfulfilled. ‘Unbelievable’, the sound of four superlative musicians having a ball making their life-long dream come true, is more than true to the motto that "good things come to those who wait".
