- Black Fate AMaze 3/11/20
Today's Video Of The Day is Greek Power Prog band Black Fate's track, 'Maze', taken from their recently released album, 'Ithaca', via Rockshots Records and Rubicon Records in Japan. With their heartbreaking world-class vocals, catchy hooks and lyrics, along with crashing guitar riffs, haunting melodies, and furious technical and melodic solos, it's their fifth studio album, and was mixed and mastered by Steve Lado. For fans of Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Kamelot, Nightwish and Dio, 'Ithaca' follows 'Between Visions and Lies' (2014), 'Deliverance of Soul' (2009), 'A Piece of Dream' (2002) and 'Uncover' (2001).
- In The Garden 2/11/20
Apollo Stands have revealed today's brand new music Video Of The Day for their track, ‘In The Garden’, taken from their latest EP, ‘Minds’, via One Eyed Toad Records. The short film-style video is the brainchild of vocalist Ry Haze, and shows off the acting talents of Rebecca Taljaard - plus the collaboration between Apollo Stands and Bradley Davies and Harry Wheelwright of Sine Wave Films, which allowed for the creation of something truly cinematic in scope. The track was recorded with producer Tom Joy, and special thanks goes to the Taljaard family for allowing the use of their beautiful home, and most importantly; their garden!
- Parris Aggro 2/11/20
Cro-Mags founder and songwriter Parris Mayhew has returned with a new instrumental Hardcore/Metal band, Aggros, plus a brand-new single and today's Track Of The Day, 'Chaos Magic'. The band will release music in a true DIY Hardcore style – no label, self-releasing one song at a time, accompanied by a video for each. Directed by Mayhew himself, the guitarist used the Covid-19 Lockdown and empty streets of Manhattan to his advantage, making nightly excursions to film anywhere from two to six hours a night. Indeed, the music will sound and feel familiar to anyone who knows Mayhew’s previous three albums, as Aggros is simply a continuation of his musical exploration. Fans who are accustomed to a big Rock sound production from Mayhew’s guitar will find that 'Chaos Magic' is more streamlined and raw.

- Tired Of Listening Bone 1/11/20
Russell Keefe's solo project, TBelly, recently released today's Video Of The Day, ‘Tired Of Listening Bone’, on all major streaming sites, and it's the second single taken from their forthcoming second album ‘I Never Want To See Me Again’, which is out early next year. This perfectly executed, high octane romp of a track will have audiences dancing from the start, and showcases Russell’s world class keyboard and vocal skills. Also making a guest appearance on harmonica is the internationally renowned Will Wilde. For some, Keefe may be better known as the keyboard player and joint lead vocalist of Slade, but make no doubt about it, Russell is a phenomenal artist in his own right and deserves full recognition of his talent, making TBelly "one to watch".
- Kyle Daniel EPs Review 1/11/20
"There should be some online audio of these songs available via the usual platforms, so treat yourself to a listen (especially if you’re convinced that you don’t like Country Rock; hell, even some of Skynyrd’s songs would have happily worn that moniker!) and if you get the chance to buy the discs, do it; they are unreservedly recommended.” Today read another one of our great music reviews, as Gary Smith gives you his take here on not just one, but two Kyle Daniel EPs, namely 'What's There To Say? and 'Kyle Daniel', of which the track, 'Hangover Town', is today's Track Of The Day.

It's Halloween, and today at 3.33pm EST and 7.33pm in the UK here, BraveWords goes “Metalhead To Head” with Judas Priest’s Rob Halford on Streaming For Vengeance. One of the greatest Heavy Metal bands in music history, Halford's new book, 'Confess', is a deeply personal moment for the Metal God and a must-read. Indeed, the interview digs very deep into Rob's past and they discuss gay marriage, Judas Priest at 50+, the new studio record and the fact that 'Stained Class' and 'Van Halen I' were released on the same day in 1978, so there's plenty of Eddie Van Halen idolisation as well!

- King King CD Review 30/10/20
"No, it’s solid, anthemic Rock from the kick off with the single ‘Never Give In’ opening side one (it is available on vinyl after all) sounding rather like Bad Company (which is not bad company to be compared to) with the classic arrangement of big slashing chords for the first three phrases of the verses and a descending run on the fourth. It even has a double time pick up at the end of the song; showing off time and tested moves! Rather like the opening track off their last excellent album, ‘Exile & Grace’, which was used as the opening number when I saw them last live back in 2018, this has all the credentials to be the new blockbuster set opener.” Today read yet another one of our great album reviews, as Simon Green gives you his take here on King King's new CD 'Maverick', which is being released next Friday 6th November, that includes their second single, and today's Video Of The Day, 'Never Give In'.
