Four-piece Psychedelic Doom outfit Indica Blues from Oxford, recently released their new single, and today's Video Of The Day, ‘Scarred For Life’, ahead of their second album, ‘We Are Doomed’, which is set for release next Friday 12th February via APF Records. Once described as "bong filling Rock that is platinum heavy, but blessed with a melodic sensibility underneath it all," the band’s unique sound has garnered fans across the world since their formation in 2014. Consisting of Andrew Haines-Villalta - bass, Tom Pilsworth - guitar, vocals, John Slaymaker - guitar and Rich Walker- drums, 'We Are Doomed' imagines a catastrophic very-near-future scenario in which current world events lead to all-out war and nuclear annihilation.

A continuation of the Progressive Rock band 3, in which multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Robert Berry performed alongside ELP members Carl Palmer and the late Keith Emerson, 3.2's ‘Third Impression’, due to be released next Friday 12th February, is the follow up to 2018 debut, ‘The Rules Have Changed’, including today's Video Of The Day of 'A Fond Farewell'. Indeed, it's a fine match for its predecessor, offering epic songs that include the album closing ‘Never’ (co-written by Berry and Emerson), as well as melodic and AOR tracks. Backtracking to 2015, Berry had begun work on a new 3 album that contained songs and music co-written with Emerson, but the latter’s untimely death shortly thereafter threw the project into doubt. Following a period of grief and contemplation, Berry resumed work as 3.2 on what became a fitting and exquisite tribute to his late friend’s legacy, re-energising and updating what they had begun with 3 back in the late 80's.

New York Blues Rock singer/songwriter Sari Schorr has once again turned video-maker, creating today's visually accomplished, brand-new Video Of The Day for her latest single, ‘Turn the Radio On’, taken from her outstanding album ‘Never Say Never’. Before the pandemic kicked in, Sari would’ve been setting out on her new headline tour, visiting most of Europe, including several shows with Robin Trower. This would have been her most extensive tour to date. Hopefully all these postponed dates will go ahead this Autumn. Indeed, during the past year, Sari has honed her new craft, shooting and editing vivid, evocative pieces, andwith her latest video, Sari shows how far her creative visual skills have come, and what can be achieved these days with quality consumer media tools, like a smartphone, laptop and editing software. Oh, and vision, commitment and one hell of a song!

Today's Video Of the Day is 'Swallow That Pill' by Tarah Who?, a power duo masterminded by Grunge-Punk sage Tarah Carpenter, a firebrand front-woman who channels explosive emotionality into rousing anthems. Complemented by drummer/backing vocalist Coralie Hervé, Tarah wanted to do something in the same vibe as their previous release 'Pantomath'.The music video was shot by their friend Erica Torres, but had to be quick because of Covid, so they broke a lot of things for an hour, which, in the end, turned out to be a lot more exhausting than theyfirst thought!

The much acclaimed US Blues Rock guitarist Alastair Greene has released his latest album, ‘The New World Blues’, to across the board stellar reviews and a #3 US Billboard Blues Chart placing, of which his title track is today's Video Of The Day. After many years playing with the highly revered Alan Parsons Live Project, Alastair has opened shows for many Blues scene favourites in The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Robin Trower, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers and Jonny Lang, plus prior to the pandemic, he traversed the globe touring with Sugaray Rayford’s band, which was nominated for a 2020 Blues Music Award. Greene trekked from his native Southern California to Houma, Louisiana, to record with bass player Corey Duplechin, plusGrammy nominated Tab Benoit, who also produced, co-penned a few songs, played drums and sang harmonies on the album, Some tracks give a tip of the hat to Gary Moore and Peter Green, whereas others find a more laid back funky groove. His stellar slide guitar is up front in places, in addition to heavier tones while others capture the feel of the Cajun environment, combined with a rock-solid Louisiana rhythm section.
