Ever-creative and industrious, multi-talented composer, performer and musician and Blues Rock wizard, Mike Ross, released his very latest double a-sided single, ‘The Only Place You Ever Take Me Is Down’, on Friday, that features both an electric version of the single taken from his previous album, ‘The Clovis Limit Part 2’, plus an acoustic version taken from Mike’s most recent album, 'The Clovis Limit Tennessee Transition’, of which the former is one of today's six of the best 'Monday Rocks!' "Inglorious' pulsating rock, which focused on tracks from their recently released, self titled debut album, set the Saturday main stage tone for the day. Personal favourites were the hard, pounding ‘Warning’, and ‘Holy Water’, a singalong well known to many in the audience. It was obvious the band have already built a sizeable fan base - it is not difficult to see why." That was part of our take when we saw Inglorious open on the Planet Rock Stage at Day One of Maidstone's Ramblin' Man Fair back in July 2016, and afterwards we managed to catch a few words with the guys backstage, which is today's Podcast Of The Day.

In advance of their Hellbound UK tour this November/December, Buckcherry yesterday released their ninth studio album, 'Hellbound', and the title track, which is currently sitting on the A list at both Kerrang and Planet Rock radio, is today's Video Of The Day. Starting at Milton Keynes' Craufurd Arms on Monday 29th November, the 11 show tour features support from Damon Johnson of Black Star Riders/Thin Lizzy, Rubikon and Scarlet Rebels. Recorded in Nashville in November last year, the ten-track album was produced by Marti Frederiksen, who previously produced the band's fourth album, 'Black Butterfly', and also co-wrote one of their biggest hits 'Sorry'. 'Lost in Translation' is the fourth album from Argentine guitarist and singer song-writer, Daniel De Vita, that's due for release on Friday 30th July, and Daniel's first single, due out next Friday 2nd July, is one of today's six of the best 'Saturday Rocks!' In celebration of the recent release of 'Live In Tokyo!' via Hellcat Records, Los Angeles-based band The Interrupters (Video Of The Day) will broadcast their documentary film 'Live in Tokyo – This Is My Family!' live here https://www.momenthouse.com/theinterrupters tonight at 6pm BST/7pm CEST. The film features the band’s 2019 live performance at Tokyo’s Summer Sonic Festival, plus behind the scenes footage and exclusive interviews. Today we turn the clock back exactly six years ago to a knockout ZZ Top Wembley gig when the WRC ranks were joined by Pure Radio 107.8FM Route 66 host Rory Auskerry and his brother Hamish (pictured), a brilliant night where we also made a few polite suggestions for Rory's next show (today's Podcast Of The Day) on a number of bands on the WRC radar.
