  • Talking TBelly 24/9/21

For some, Russell Keefe may be better known as the keyboard player and joint lead vocalist of Slade, but make no doubt about it, Russell is a phenomenal keyboard and vocalist in his own right, as demonstrated on his solo project, TBelly, and their forthcoming album, 'I Never Want To See Me Again', out on Friday 8th October. On today's Covid friendly Zoom chat Video Of The Day, (which we naturally would have preferred to have over a pint), watch as we dip in and out of some of the album's striking singles and talk about, amongst other things, the album, Deep Purple, Covid-19, Louis Armstrong, Dennis Dunaway, Made In Chelsea, The Pretty Things, videos, Slade, Brighton, Les McKeown, football, Ten Years After, future gigs and much much more.

  • No Restitution 21/9/21

London rockers Seven Days and Doesn’t Die have recently released their debut single, and today's Video Of The Day, ‘No Restitution’, a hard hitting, Punked-up rocker, which is taken from their self-titled debut album, due to be released on Friday 19th November, via Seven Days Records. Dragged up from the gutters and back alleys of London’s ripe underbelly and fronted by Kit's snarling vocals and attitude (who also plays in Rich Ragany and the Digressions), plus Deano (guitar), Roadkill (bass) and Nic (drums), the band have long formed alliances in the capital’s dark basements and back rooms, concocting Sleaze infested riffs atop guttural beats, fists of bass and hungry vocals. Seven Days spit naked, armed truths from their salty incendiary Rock n ’Roll backdrop. This is music to burn your bridges to.
