- Fleet Sails In Again 5/6/22
Joining Grammy-winning Rock band Greta Van Fleet as Special Guests this month on their UK & European headline leg of their Dreams In Gold world tour, will be British Rock band The Amazons in Berlin, Vienne, Cologne and Frankfurt, plus US sensation Marcus King in Dublin, London and Manchester, and today's Video Of The Day of 'Safari Song', goes back to when we first saw them at London's O2 Islington Academy in April 2018. Indeed, their second album, 'The Battle at Garden’s Gate', released last year, elevated an elegance unseen from the young band before, with string orchestras, explorative songs, building a visual story with every track, thus exploring the boundaries of the group’s artistry. Suffice to say that in just four years, Josh Kiszka (vocals), Jake Kiszka (guitars), Sam Kiszka (bass & keys) and Danny Wagner (drums) have gone from touring the grimy Rock bars of Detroit and Saginaw to headlining shows on five continents with audiences triple their hometown’s population!

Released digitally last Friday by Seahorse Recordings, 'As a Sky of Fallen Planets', is the debut album by the enigmatic Faceless Night Lines, a young composer based in the South of Italy, near Naples, and his dense, exoteric work, that will likely appeal to fans of the icy and enigmatic minimalism of Mùm, Sigur Ros, Ulver, Howard Shore and Akira Yamaoka, is more than evident on 'A.7-The Call Of The Horn', one of today's six of the best 'Platinum Jubilee Sunday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further new and recent releases from Fear Not, Weimar, StormbounD, The Algorithm and WEAK13.

- Sons Of Liberty Grand Slam Tour 4/6/22
Following the release last year of their “tricky” second album, ‘Aces & Eights’, to huge acclaim from critics and fans alike, including their fourth single and today's Video Of The Day, "Don't Hide Behind Your Weakness', Southern UK rockers, Sons of Liberty bring their own brand of whiskey smoked tales as special guests to UK Rock legends Grand Slam, for a string of shows across the UK this Summer, including a jewel in Camden London’s venue crown, The Underworld on Wednesday 21st September. A group of well-travelled musicians, largely based in Bristol, they're drawn together by a shared love of the incredible music of the southern states of America and their desire to deal this out with their own swagger. The band of brothers are Fred Hale and Andy Muse (guitars), Mark Thomas (bass) and Steve Byrne (drums), with Rob Walker of ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ stepping in on the microphone for 2022. Indeed, the boys have proved to be an energetic band that delivers an authentic, crowd pleasing and fresh performance.

- HVMM Interview 3/6/22
HVMM first came to our attention after the release of their single 'Lacerate' - their unique ballsy, bolshy, raw Rock sound receiving rave reviews given influences of Royal Blood and Band Of Skulls, and exactly five years ago today, we caught up with the band from Worcester at Camden Rocks Festival for a chat, before the guys took to a sweltering Belushi's stage, which is today's Podcast Of The Day.
- Fantastic Frank At Black Heart 3/6/22
Promoted by London Prog gigs, but not actually a Prog gig, although very popular within the ‘Prog community’, one of the greatest showmen on the Classic-Rock scene and real Rock ’n’ Roll band, Franck Carducci & The Fantastic Squad (Video Of The Day), play Camden's The Black Heart in London on Wednesday 15th June. Influenced by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Supertramp and Alice Cooper, they successfully combine original songs with a colourful, flamboyant and fun show. Didgeridoo duels, double-neck guitar, belly-dancing around a Theremin, lighted-wings over a Mellotron, using costumes and make-up, along with powerful melodies, they bring theatrical Classic-Rock back up to date. Indeed, the land of Rock 'n' Roll can't be wrong.
- Chelsea Blues Gig Review 2/6/22
"As the audience slowly filed out, I think it was fair to say that the whole day was a success. It was a shame that the crowds weren’t bigger, but I still feel that a lots of people were still choosing to stay away, due to COVID. Only time will tell, but for everyone who was there, they were treated to a wonderful day of Blues, Rhythm and Rock. So I say, well done to the organisers for keeping the Blues alive, especially in such trying times." Following on from yesterday's photo gallery of the third Chelsea Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival, that took place at the London's Bush Hall last Saturday 28th May, today we have Tim Russell's complete review of headliner's BB King Blues Band plus The Cinelli Brothers (pictured/Video Of The Day), The Kendall Connection, Jimmy Regal And The Royals, Ryk Mead Band and Tin Rose.
- Eric Gales Tour Kicks Off Tonite! 2/6/22
"For me, the gig and the album were both more consistent than some of Eric’s other recent work; more Blues and less Funk and Soul and all the better for it. Perhaps having Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith on board as co-producers of the album might be one factor. Anyone who wishes to judge for him- or herself will be pleased to know that Eric will return to the UK in June (supported then by Dom Martin) for half a dozen gigs in Leamington, Chester, York, Newcastle, Bury and Basingstoke." That was part of our take on this year's Eric Gales London O2 Academy Islington gig from March, and tonight, exactly five years ago to the day that we interviewed the man himself before his London Nell's gig (Podcast Of The Day), Gales kicks off another six-date UK tour at Leamington Assembly, with support from double 2022 UKBlues Awards winner, Dom Martin.
