    Ahead of hitting the road again later this year with drummer Phil Wilson plus bass guitarist Greg Smith on his ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’ UK tour, Hard Blues Rock/singer/guitarist Jack J Hutchinson is unleashing a special new studio recording of the same name on Friday 2nd September, being a 4 track EP mixed by legendary producer, Kevin Shirley, of which the eerie new video of the title track, shot by Neil Collins Films, is today's Video Of The Day. The collection follows his critically acclaimed album, ‘The Hammer Falls’, which was released earlier this year and includes new versions of three of the tracks from its predecessor, plus the brand new full-tilt rocker, ‘Days Of Thunder’, and is available for pre-order now via Eyesore Merch. Paired with the CD in this exciting release is a bonus DVD, featuring ‘behind the scenes’ footage, plus six music videos from ‘The Hammer Falls’.

    Following the band's critically acclaimed 2018 debut album, 'Cascade into Chaos', in April, British Rock heavyweights, Leader of Down, who were the final band of Motörhead's late great Würzel, unleashed their second album, 'The Screwtape Letters', to amazing reviews, consisting of 10 blockbusting tracks which took no prisoners with their own brand of heavy Rock ‘n’ Roll, that consequently hit the top ten in the UK Amazon Heavy Rock Charts, including the title track, which is today's Video Of The Day. Following on from a successful appearance at this year's Motörhead weekend in Blackpool, the band, comprising of Matt Baker - vocals, Alex Ward - guitar, Tim Atkinson - bass and Daniel Akaoui - drums, have also headlined Saffron Walden's Heavy Metal Mayhem Festival, supported the likes of Tank and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, and have also been added to Leicester's HRH NWOCR in January next year.   • Swiss Joe's On A Roll 7/6/22

    Swiss Alternative/Prog/Psych "variété" five-piece, La Bande à Joe, will unveil their third full-length record, 'Chrones', - inspired by the book La Horde du Contrevent d’Alain Damasio - this Friday 10th June through Table Basse Records, of which they have recently shared a first glance with today's Video Of The Day of 'Rire clavecin'. Formed in 2012, and inspired by Can to Léo Ferré, through Tame Impala or The Electric Prunes, in 2015 they released their debut full-length, 'Histoires', followed three years later by 'Solstices', which resulted in massive airplay on national radio plus a bunch of gigs in and around their local patch of Lausanne.
