Following a couple of fantastic reviews plus an album launch gig at Pickering Memorial Hall, Scarborough based Rock band, This House We Built, released their self funded, eponymous debut album in mid-October, and back in May, the North Yorkshire band supported 2019 WRC Best Unplugged award winner Danny Vaughn at an intimate show at Pickering's The Dog House, where the Tyketto legend duly joined them for an acoustic performance of ‘Fly Me Up To The Moon’, a moving, personal song, off of their 10-track album, which is one of today's six of the best 'Sunday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Stelios Ventas featuring Yiannis Goudoulas, The Bellwether Syndicate, Atomic, King Canyon and Perceived.

2019 WRC Best Unplugged award winning, Danny Vaughn, stops off at London's The Grace tonight, as part of his 11-date acoustic solo UK tour, named "Vaughnsday On The Road" by his fans, that ends at Bradford's Nightrain this coming Friday 9th December, and for today's Podcast Of The Day we go back to March 2020, when we were lucky enough to chat to Danny in London, a pre-pandemic interview where we discussed Tyketto, Waysted, his acclaimed solo album 'Myths, Legends & Lies' plus how Snake Oil & Harmony came to be.

Prog Rock outfit Frost* completed their much anticipated five-date UK live-return at London's Islington Assembly Hall on Thursday night, celebrating the release of last year's album, ‘Day And Age’, and today we not only have our Photo Gallery from the cheap seats but also our Video Of The Day of the monsterous 'Repeat To Fade', filmed at their third gig on Tuesday at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club. With superb support from duo Quantum Pig, Frost were formed in 2004 by keyboard player and singer Jem Godfrey, with ‘Day And Age’, being the band’s fourth record and first new studio album in five years, which saw Godfrey joined on stage once again by guitarist John Mitchell plus Level 42 bassist Nathan King, as well as drummer Craig Blundell, returning to the fold after his 'Foxtrot' duties with Steve Hackett. Absolutely awesome!

WRC award-winning Pete Feenstra has spent the last forty years listening to, writing about, talking about, and promoting Rock music, with a particular interest in the Blues, and on Pete's latest Rock & Blues Podcast Of The Day, he pays tribute to cosmic journeyman Nik Turner, who passed away last month, who is remembered on this special show through his solo works as well as his time with Space Rockers Hawkwind.

Currently co-headlining their third North American trek alongside Motionless In White and Ice Nine Kills, on their Trinity of Terror Part 3 Tour, and following the release in October via Sumerian Records of their latest EP, 'The Mourning Today', next year Hollywood Rock band, Black Veil Brides, are heading towards UK shores, including a gig at London's Troxy on Saturday 25th February, and to give you an advance taste of what's to come, check out today's Video Of The Day of their EP debut single, 'Saviour II'. Kicking off today, there's a fantastic line-up over the next three days at the Looe Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival at Tencreek Holiday Park, Looe, Cornwall. with Elles Bailey headlining tonight, Laurence Jones tomorrow and Errol Linton on Sunday, and today's 'Looe Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day features six of the great supporting artists taking part, namely Connor Selby, Big River, Malone Sibun, Felix Rabin, Jack J Hutchinson and Dom Martin.

Today's latest Blues Club Podcast Of The Day has another two hours of non stop Best in Blues and a bit of this and that, with More Music and Less Chat, featuring Bridget Kelly Band, Keb' Mo', Angela Strehli, Kenny Neal. The Marcus King Band, Jeremiah Johnson, Larkin Poe, Yates McKendree, Mud Morganfield, Pink Martini, ZAZ, Larry McCray, Dire Straits, Roger Waters (pictured), Ben Levin and many more.

"The principal emotion for yours truly during the nearly two and half-hour performance was the joy of having keyboardist Christine McVie back in this group... She brought high harmonies and several songs, including 'Little Lies’, ‘Everywhere’ and the closing ‘Songbird’, back into the repertoire. One would never know the striking 71-year old had been away for nearly two decades." That was part of our take on Fleetwood Mac's performance back at London's O2 Arena back in May 2015, and sadly yesterday Christine's family confirmed that she had died at the age of 79 following a short illness. In tribute, today's Video Of The Day of 'The Chain' is dedicated to Christine, filmed on that very same memorable evening over seven years ago.

Southern Blues Rock outfit Bad Touch will be headlining Gloucester Guildhall's AmpliYuletide on Saturday 17th December with a mouthwatering festive undercard of The Fallen State, Ryders Creed, The Outlaw Orchestra, Gypsy Pistoleros, Dead Man's Whiskey and Twister, and exactly six years ago today we interviewed the band at The Dome in Tufnell Park for the album launch of 'Truth Be Told', and despite it being a freezing cold evening, the guys kindly agreed to a last minute outside interview, before their explosive 45 minute set in support of headliner's Whiskey Myers, which is today's Podcast Of The Day.
