When Rivers Meet + Troy Redfern Review 29/5/22

"What they have is charisma in bundles; their songs are at once familiar, rooted often in open tuned slide playing, but played with boundless energy and given a fresh twist by Grace Bond’s soaring high lead vocals. They have taken a stack of influences from delta slide players to heavy rockers and distilled them into shorty punchy numbers that smack you between the eyes and don’t overstay their welcome."

Earlier this month, When Rivers Meet won three awards at the UK Blues Awards 2022 including “Blues Band of the Year”, “Blues Album of the Year” and “Blues Vocalist of the Year” for Grace Bond, and following the recent completion of their UK tour with support from Troy Redfern, today read below Simon's Green's take on their gig at Highbury Corner's The Garage in London on Thursday 12th May, plus check out Simon's great photos and our 'Innocence Of Youth' Video Of The Day'.
