After releasing their sixth studio album, ’Radiance‘, at the end of September, The Dead Daisies are about to wing their way to back to the UK on their eight-date Winter Tour in December, with very special guests, revered UK legends FM and the Graham Bonnet Band, and for today's Podcast Of The Day, we go back exactly four years ago today, when we interviewed the then Dead Daisies drummer Deen Castronovo in the middle of their "Welcome To Daisyland" tour, before their second London show at Islington's O2 Academy. Recorded in between the band's intimate, private “Daisyland” acoustic set and their awesome two hour main set, listen out for a classic guitar snippet from Doug Aldrich, as we not only got a feel of happenings back stage, but Deen also discussed from his 'dungeon', touring, their latest album, his favourite drummer, cruising, the weather, The Muppets, British musical influences, Journey, radio airplay, the management and being a "Rock star".
