With musical roots still firmly in the Progressive realm, drawing from his love of old-school 80s Thrash, 90s Tech-Metal and Alternative Rock, Charlie Griffiths, guitarist with British Progressive Metal heavyweights Haken, releases his solo debut, ‘Tiktaalika’, on Friday 17th June via InsideOutMusic, a nine-track album that features an impressive roster of guests, such as vocalist Tommy Rogers of Between the Buried & Me on his first single, ‘Arctic Cemetery’, that's also one of today's six of the best 'Friday The Thirteenth Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further new and recent releases from Reflection, Midnite Hellion, Noisecult, Lost Legacy and Daniel Bohn.
