Rooted deeply in both Gothic and Progressive Metal scenes, starting out as a solo-project by singer-poetess Rioghan Darcy, Finnish act Rioghan has grown into a trio with Teemu Liekkala (guitars, bass, keys, production) and Valtteri Revonkorpi (drums), and made in collaboration with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia), Einar Solberg (Leprous), Teemu Liekkala (ex-Manufacturer’s Pride, Red Eleven) andTeemu Koskela (ex-Celesty), they are set to release their debut album, 'Different Kinds Of Losses', on Friday 9th December via Inverse Records, of which their latest single, 'Home', is one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Chris Maragoth, Steve Hill, Crossing I's Dotting T's, Vis Mystica and Primaterra.
