- Introducing ..... The Bros. Landreth 20 August 2015
Next Tuesday 25th August Canadian roots-rockers The Bros. Landreth play their European debut show at the intimate Borderline in London. This special show follows the release of their 11-song debut 'Let It Lie' - winner of this years Junos Roots & Traditional Album award. The band's sound is anchored by the bluesy wail of electric guitars, the swell of B3 organ, and the blood harmonies of brothers Joey and David Landreth that has since drawn comparisons to The Band, The Allman Brothers and Jackson Browne. They will be announcing further UK shows for October shortly, but in the meantime enjoy our 'Runaway Train' Vid Of The Day' taken from the very same album.

In the meantime listen to today's TOTD recorded when Robin played Bluesfest in 2014! Anyway, make sure you are at the TNMC, c/o Hooley Village Club, St Margaret's Road, Hooley Village, Coulsdon, Surrey, CR5 3RB on Saturday from midday for twelve hours of non-stop live music, a charity raffle, the launch of the first Club CD, food and a bar with Club prices!

- Amazing Journey Continues! 19 June 2015
"Anyway, Townshend’s performance of ‘I’m One’ (see Vid Of The Day) was brilliant but Daltrey’s vocals on ‘Love, Reign, O’er Me’ brought a tear to my eye for all the right reasons. The inclusion of the less popular ‘Eminence Front’, ‘So Sad About Us’ and ‘A Quick One’ was a surprise, however this is the perfect launch pad for a bit of ‘Tommy’ and we’re on that ‘Amazing Journey’ of ‘Pinball Wizard’ (where Daltrey has another bit of a mare), ‘Sparks’ and the moving ‘See Me Feel Me’. Awesome. The evening is then complete with both ‘Baba O’Riley’ and ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ which brings back memories of the very first time I saw The Who along with cutting edge lasers firing across The Valley." That was our WRC take on The Who at The O2 Arena, London in March - and we're off to see them again in a week at BST in Hyde Park! Give us a shout if you're going as well!
- Giants Of Rock! 24 July 2015

- High Voltage - ZZ Top! 24 June 2015
The last time the WRC saw ZZ Top was at the High Voltage Festival (see pic and Vid Of the Day) in Victoria Park, London on Saturday 24th July 2010 when they headlined the Classic Rock Stage. The undercard that day included The Answer, Foreigner and a certain Gary Moore - the very last time we saw him before his untimely death in February 2011. Anyway all roads lead to Wembley Arena tonight where yet again they will have strong support from Thunder who coincidentally played the Classic Rock Stage at HV the year after. And if you're going tonight then we hope to see you in The Blue Check Bar in Empire Way before the gig!
