We're all still buzzing after the first live music event by the British Blues Exhibition took place at the Proud Camden, London, on Thursday night. With Blues dancers and music from The Laura Holland Band, The Saiichi Sugiyama Band and Pete Brown - co-lyricist with Cream - it turned out to be a highly entertaining and original night. Well our proposed pre-show musical play list came in at 1 hour 57 minutes according to Rock On The Ridge co-host Jules - no doubt some of you thankful there would be less talking and more good music. Following a pint to steady the nerves in a local hostelry around the corner from Ridge Radio's Caterham studio - AJ and Col met up with WRC Award winner Bob half an hour before he went live on air! Anyway, watch out for the Track Of The Day podcast in the coming days which included the well deserved presentation of ROTR's 2015 WRC award, the WRC story and a few poignant stories and tracks. Artists to be included in part 2 (watch this space) are featured today as our Vid Of The Day and Track Of The Day. And talking of Leo's Red Lion - is it really over a month ago that John Verity and his band blew the bloody roof of the place! Anyway, JV's latest album 'My Religion' will be available for pre-order in a couple of weeks - a CD first, then a vinyl double album soon thereafter. There are 10 new tracks on the CD version, with 4 extra bonus tracks on the vinyl version - in a gatefold sleeve. Watch this space for updates, but in the meantime a taste of the artwork is pictured.

All roads lead to Leo's Red Lion, Gravesend, Kent, tonight as Danny Bryant's 'Blood Money' UK tour comes to an end. Tickets will be available on the door and support is from Red Butler who recently won the second UK Blues Challenge and will represent the UK at the 2016 European Blues Challenge in Italy! Understandably there have been some great shows already - packed in like sardines and swinging from the rafters in Edinburgh plus Danny and Stevie Nimmo jamming in Elland and if you haven't had a chance to buy the album yet, check out our our album review here. Yes it's exactly a year to the day that our new website wrinklyrockersclub.com replaced our inaugural website wrinklyrockersclub.co.uk .... and what a year it has been! Our very first posting back in 2015 brought you news of Aerosmith winning our 2014 WRC 'Best Rock Performance' award plus there was a review of AC/DC's latest album 'Rock Or Bust'. Anyway we're sure that the next 12 months will be even more exciting what with all the gigs we have planned - whether it's just as a punter or as a promoter. In association with 1883 Magazine and Radio X, all roads led to Natives' gig at the Cargo, Shoreditch, last night with support from Mono Club, Mowbeck and Lola Cove. The band were celebrating the recent release of their single ‘Stop The Rain’ which is taken from their forthcoming second album - heavily influenced by the band’s recent trip to Morocco, which inspired their huge tribal sound. The bad news is that tonight's Tuesday Night Music Club 2nd Anniversary celebration at the Comrades Club, 194 Brighton Road, Coulsdon CR5 2N is sold out. The good news is that there is still time here to purchase tickets in their incredible raffle in aid of 'Music For All' which will be drawn tonight. The other good news is that following tonight's gig featuring both Salvation Jayne and Catfish, you can catch both bands again at WRC Promotions later this year at Leo's Red Lion, Gravesend. First up are Catfish at BluesRockFest on Saturday 24th September here - followed by Salvation Jayne on Friday 21st October here.

We continue our countdown to Ramblin' Man Fair weekend at Mote Park, Maidstone on 23rd/24th July with Sunday headliners Black Stone Cherry. We first saw BSC supporting Alter Bridge at Wembley Arena in November 2011 (pictured) and they obviously have gone from strength to strength. To coincide with this February's' packed out UK arena tour, BSC unveiled their video for 'In Our Dreams' (today's Vid Of The Day), the first single taken from their fifth studio album, 'Kentucky'.
