Our 'Video Of The Day' is the excellent Laura Holland Band performing at last year's Bluesfest. The first track "Forgive Me' was an exclusive taste of their new album 'Dare I Believe' which has actually been released today! You can preview and pre-order the CD here. Their next gig is at the Proud Camden Live on Sunday 8th March where they will be playing the whole of the new album - on stage from 6pm - and it's free entry as well! Talking of band sponsorship - Lemonrock kindly sponsored John Verity at Bluesfest last year - but at the last minute the band had to pull out due to illness. Anyway Bluesfest stars from 2013 Nicky Moore and Danny Kyle stepped in and as they say the rest is history at they went down a storm as the WRC expected. Just one week to go now until the WRC breakout (see our Video Of The Day) for our first outdoor gig of the Summer. Yes we're off to see the Foo Fighters return to Wembley Stadium for the first time since their record breaking shows of 2008. Not only that but we will get an exclusive treat with both the legendary Iggy Pop and the critically acclaimed Royal Blood on the bill. Give us a shout below if you're going as well!

Normal service returned to Blues On The Marsh on Channel Radio last night with The Marshman himself - Kevin Beale. As promised our Track Of The Day is a bumper edition including special live guest in the studio - Blues singer/guitarist Martin McNeil (pictured)!

With exactly a month to go now to BluesRockfest at the Red Lion, Gravesend on Saturday 4th July we suppose it had to happen sooner or later - yes we have set up a hashtag for the event: #BluesRockfestGravesend So please start spreading the word by either including it in your tweets or by re-tweeting. Those influences added to the Joe Cocker vocals and you have a band that are more than just watchable as borne out by the very appreciative crowd who roared out for more even after an hour set. Normally an hour set by a support band would be drowned out by incessant chatter - not with these guys." Anyway we're pleased to report that their third album is taking shape 'If The Devil Cast His Net' soon to be released worldwide in CD, MP3 and vinyl formats! The wedding band without a wedding - The Pre-nups hopefully won't be late for their big day when they perform at The Iron Horse, Sidcup, on Sunday 3rd May - entry is free and they will be kicking off at 1.15pm!! Playing the best rock covers from the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, The Cult, Chuck Berry and more, to rocking up some of the best songs from a wedding including Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Donna Summer and A-Ha - why not go down and enjoy a few pints as you can sleep it off on Bank Holiday Monday! Just four days to go before Virgil and the Accelerators start their UK Tour and in another first for the WRC it will be our promotion at The Red Lion, Gravesend, that kicks things off! With excellent support from Loose Moorings it is going to be a great night - pre-event tickets are still available at a bargain £10 here - but on the night Gravesend BluesRockfest tickets will also be on sale for just £10 - so in effect you can see 8 quality bands for just £20 - yes we have definitely gone mad!!!

..... Well the Hammersmith Apollo, London, to be precise. Apparently Glasgow rocked on Tuesday and Manchester on Wednesday was awesome! So how did Lynyrd Skynyrd (and support Leogun) fare in the smoke on Thursday night?
