- Happy And Inglorious! 29/11/15
Inglorious are being hailed as one of the UK’s heaviest new Hard Rock bands to emerge from the British underground scene. Originally formed in February 2014, the band is fronted by Nathan James, who made a name for himself having sung for the multi-platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Scorpions guitar legend Uli Jon Roth. Inspired by musical giants such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Bad Company, and Aerosmith - our Vid Of The Day is the official music video for their forthcoming single 'Until I Die'. The single is taken from the eponymous debut album released by Frontiers Music SRL on Friday 19th February 2016 and they will be supporting The Winery Dogs on their European tour from 29th January until 17th February, followed by their official album launch at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on Sunday 21st February.

- LastMinuteBandz: The Kareña K Band 30/12/15
With a voice and classic writing style reminiscent of torch singers past, Kareña can belt out those Blues or sizzle with smoky Jazz vocals. Hailing from the north of England originally, Kareña came up through the big band scene there before embarking on what became an international music career that has taken her far and wide, including an appearance at Dubai Rock/Blues Festival with her Blues band Nightcalls. Now settled back in the UK she is currently working on her solo album with her new line up. Kareña is also involved in multiple recording projects with Wily Bo Walker, including ‘Moon Over Indigo’, WBW’s solo album, which involves some of the finest musicians from across the globe released in September 2015. So why not check out Karena's very own LastMinuteBandz page here?
- Shoot-Out At The Half Moon! 23 September 2015
The eagerly anticipated shoot-out on the banks of The Thames had nothing to do with the Fulham v. Stoke Cup tie being played at The Cottage last night! No, the real deal was at The Half Moon, Putney, as the Blues Rock of support band Southbound took on the Classic Rock of Shooter at their 'Recycled Teenagers' launch party - very appropriate for the WRC! Anyway, were Shooter loud, dirty, fun and raunchy and did Southbound live up to their reputation as an extremely talented up and coming band? Well for starters take a gander at today's Vid Of The Day with more pics, vids and a review to come over the next few days!
- Band Of Brothers! 27 August 2015
"We were then into ‘LIL’ territory with the groovy and foot-tappin’ ‘Tappin’ On The Glass’ and just to prove they could mix it up ‘I Am The Fool’ with its neat Country riff (originally written by Landreth Senior no less) cemented the strength of ‘LIL’ after just two tracks. The groove of ‘Made Up Mind’ was followed by the album’s title track (see Vid Of The Day), Joey preferring live electric to acoustic on the album – although still the same result – perfect. A couple more covers were thrown in for good measure: Lyle Lovett’s ‘If I Had A Boat’ and John Hiatt’s ‘Alone In The Dark’ – the former an enchanting acoustic/harmony gathering – the latter nailed – again despite no keys. Rhino and Dave were the archetypal spine of the band - with Rhino chipping in with a bit of banter whilst Dave proved later in the set that his brother was not the only one with great vocals!" - The Brothers Landreth At The Borderline Tonight! 25 August 2015
All roads lead to The Borderline in London tonight as Canadian roots-rockers The Bros. Landreth play their European debut show following the release of their excellent 11-song debut 'Let It Lie' - winner of this years Junos Roots & Traditional Album award. The band's sound is anchored by the bluesy wail of electric guitars, the swell of B3 organ, and the blood harmonies of brothers Joey and David Landreth that has since drawn comparisons to The Band, The Allman Brothers and Jackson Browne. They will be announcing further UK shows for October shortly, but in the meantime enjoy again our 'Runaway Train' Vid Of The Day' taken from the album.
