- The Colour Purple - Part 1 25 July 2015
"I wasn't sure to expect when AJ kindly bribed me with a free ticket to this gig at the Orchard. I am not a massive fan of tribute bands although we have had some very good ones at the last few Wrinklystock’s I must admit.. The Beatlez, Bon Giovi and of course the brilliant Bohemians from last year's gig spring to mind.. Then of course I suddenly remembered that Purple Zeppelin had run away with the WRC tribute band award in 2012. So I thought they would be pretty good..And I wasn't wrong in the slightest.." - Mersey Beat! 27/6/16
Unlike some WRC members - we can't pretend that we were at London's Borderline nor Poole's Mr. Kyps in 2006 to see some American guitarist named Joe Bonamassa. Although to be fair, we were at Shepherd's Bush Empire for that wow moment in February 2008 and consequently went to see Joe again at Liverpool's Carling Academy in July that same year. Eight year's down the line and many gigs later, including The Royal Albert Hall, we are returning to Liverpool and its iconic Cavern Club - as we have the privilege of seeing JB at an exclusive gig tonight. So watch out for a review, photos and vids over the coming days!

- Up Periscope! 14 April 2015
A first for Rory Auskerry on his Route 66 show on Sunday was Periscope - a new mobile app that allows you to broadcast a live video stream from a mobile phone. Rory duly turned the camera on several times during his live show from Stockport's Pure 107.8FM studio! The bad news is that you won't be able to see Rory on today's 'Track Of The Day' - but the good news is that you will be able to listen to new tracks from Laurence Jones and King King plus music from Marc Ford, Marcus Malone, Big Joe Shelton, Gary Clark Jr. and Jeff Beck!
