"Bad Company have so many better songs in their set besides the radio hits and ‘Electricland’ showed that with its moody verse and truly soaring chorus that highlighted Rodger’s effortless vocal range to perfection as he played piano from the back of the stage. This was spine-tingling stuff. ‘Burnin’ Sky’ showed the darker side of the band as the atmospherics were enhanced by some effective projections onto the huge video screens. There was no mid set lull to be seen with the following ‘Run With The Pack’ and the band also shone with their version of Mott the Hoople's ‘Ready For Love’ keeping the tempo running." "However, everyone was in agreement that our first port of call would be the Classic Rock Stage to see Swedish rock band Blues Pills, featuring Zack Anderson (bass), André Kvarnström (drums), vocalist Elin Larsson and guitarist Dorian Sorriaux. Their 35 minute set kicked off with former single ‘High Class Woman’ – a former WRC Vid Of The Day – the power and range of Elin’s voice evident all throughout the set - the perfect foil for Dorian’s mix of Psychedelic, Blues and Hard Rock – transporting us back to the halcyon ‘70’s. Appropriately these guys have been on the Nuclear Blast label since 2013 and their set list included five more tracks: ‘Ain’t No Chance’, ‘No Hope Left For Me’, ‘Elements And Things’, ‘Little Sun’ and finished with another former single ‘Black Smoke’. The crowd had almost forgotten about the rain and wanted more. So many stages – so little time – but a very promising start to the day." No Sinner (Vid Of The Day) begin the UK leg of their Old Habits Die Hard tour tonight at London's Borderline. This follows the release of their new album of the same name in May through the Provogue/Mascot Label Group. 2014's 'Boo Hoo Hoo' was a classic debut album experience from Vancouver’s powerhouse frontwoman Colleen Rennison - the result of years spent fronting cover bands with players ten years her senior, writing with musicians more seasoned and eager to give direction. 'Boo Hoo Hoo' was raucous, rowdy and filled with soul and danger. It was the sound of a wild haired girl riding into the horizon on the back of her boyfriend’s motorcycle. On 'Old Habits Die Hard' Colleen isn’t sitting on the back of the motorcycle anymore. She’s barrelling down the highway, her grip on the throttle, and you better believe you’re going to hear her coming from miles away!

Once described as Britain’s long-awaited answer to John Mayer (see our Track of The Day) - Tristan Mackay will be touring throughout October and November with a twist - as he will be putting together a tour of concerts in fans' houses, gardens or local village halls etc. The premise is simple. Tristan will charge a flat fee of £500 for a full headline solo set at your house. This is a 60-75 minute set of original material from his first two albums, and new songs for the upcoming album. You can sell tickets to friends, hold a concert all for yourself (this might be a bit much), or go a bit flash and just throw a gig for your mates. The response to the plan has been overwhelming since TM launched it on social media last week. Despite an expected reduced service this week due to holiday's at Wrinkly Towers - we've still managed to squeeze in another gig tonight! Yes all roads lead to Chelsea's Under The Bridge in London as guitar virtuoso Robben Ford (Vid Of The Day) play songs off of his recent album 'Into The Sun' which includes guest appearances by Blues icon Keb’ Mo’, vocalist ZZ Ward, Warren Haynes (who is headlining Ramblin Man's Blues Stage on Sunday 24th July), Sonny Landreth, Robert Randolph and Tyler Bryant - and shines a bright light on his artful, contemporary songwriting and the stunning playing that’s made him a favorite foil of Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, George Harrison and other legends.

A beautiful Summer's evening setting of The Bulls Head by the Thames in Barnes, London, welcomed Toronto based Blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Chris Antonik last Monday night. Halfway through his debut UK tour, an intimate setting contrasted with Chris's appearance at The Upton Blues Festival last weekend, with his band consisting of Ben Fisher (guitar), Mark Wotherspoon (drums) and Guenther Kapelle (bass). We first introduced you to the guys in February 2015 when the band celebrated their 50th anniversary with a great new album of original stuff entitled 'Born At The Bosco'. Pieces of Mind have shared the stage with David Bowie and Billy Fury as well as The Who during their performance at the Coed Eva Community College in 1966.
