In support of their new album 'Here Come The Runts' due to be released next Friday 2nd February, AWOLNATION will be embarking on a headlining tour with support from Nothing But Thieves on Saturday 10th February in Toronto and touring the States until mid-March before crossing the pond for a European/UK run throughout the month of April. Serving as a follow up to the platinum-certified debut album 'Megalithic Symphony', and 2015’s 'Run', which included US No. 1 hit ‘Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)’ as well as Top 5 tracks ‘I Am’ and ‘Woman Woman', AWOLNATION’s third undertaking sees Aaron Bruno once again at the helm producing, writing and recording the new studio album. A setlist comprising in the majority of new tracks from his yet to be released new album 'The Truth' was a bold move - but the 25 year old pulled it off big time - his fans now salivatating at the thought of its release on Friday 9th March. Respect also to Laurence's band who were awesome namely Bennett Holland on keys, Phil Wilson on drums and Greg Smith on bass. We were gutted to learn yesterday of the death of Argent, The Zombies and more recently The Kinks legend Jim Rodford after a fall on the stairs at the age of 76. A brilliant bass guitarist and one of the genuine nice guys of music, we saw Jim performing many times with his cousin Rod Argent in Argent in the 70's until they split in 1976. The last time we saw Jim was when he performed with Rod and of course Colin Blunstone with The Zombies at Ramblin' Man Fair in July 2016 (pictured). Today's Video Of The Day, from that glorious Summer's Day in Kent is fittingly Argent's classic 'Hold Your Head Up' and is dedicated to Jim and all his family.

Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan was set to record vocals for Hard Rock band Bad Wolves’ cover of 'Zombie' last Monday - the day of her tragic passing. On Friday the band released a fitting tribute - their version of 'Zombie' in her memory, with proceeds going to Dolores’ three children, which is today's Video Of The Day.
