Lee Ainley's Blues Storm is renowned on the local circuit for their very eclectic take on the Blues, and consequently they supported Marcus Malone at London’s iconic 100 Club last October (pictured), debuting their first original material. Having made a great impression, they were subsequently invited this January to support The Brew on their UK tour. The response has been phenomenal - their debut EP 'Shoot Me Down' (see today's Video Of The Day), having made the IBBA most played artists top 40 in February. The band is unique in that it has joint mother/daughter lead vocals of Lee and Tori and their material draws on a wide range of influences such as Bonnie Raitt, through BB, Freddie and Albert King, and on to the likes of Etta James and Aretha Franklin, plus modern influences from the likes of Rival Sons, Temperance Movement, Texas Gentlemen and Tedeschi Trucks.
