    Taking place this Summer at Newark Showground on Saturday 23rd August, Stonedead, the One Day, One Stage, One Monster Rock Festival, was also one of our 2024 WRC nominees in our Best Festival category, and today's 'Stonedead Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day features six of the many great bands taking part this year, namely headliner's The Almighty, The Dead Daisies, Sweet, Primal Fear, The New Roses and Black Oak County.

    Criminally underrated pioneering Rock band, Little Feat, who blend genres from Blues to Americana and Country, and some of the most skilled musicians of all time, as well as architects of the Americana sound, are back with a dynamic, new, lucky thirteen-track album, 'Strike Up The Band', set for release on Friday 9th May via Hot Tomato, of which their latest album single, 'Midnight Flight', is today's Video Of The Day. Now comprising Bill Payne (keys), Scott Sharrard (slide and electric guitar/lead vocals), Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion/backing vocals), Fred Tackett (guitar) and Tony Leone (drums), 'Midnight Flight' has a trademark Little Feat syncopated groove, ear worm horn melody, love struck lyrics, and a blistering Sharrard guitar solo, which in all, make it yet another remarkable addition to the Little Feat canon.
