Taking place this Summer at Newark Showground on Saturday 23rd August, Stonedead, the One Day, One Stage, One Monster Rock Festival, was also one of our 2024 WRC nominees in our Best Festival category, and today's 'Stonedead Rocks!' Now comprising Bill Payne (keys), Scott Sharrard (slide and electric guitar/lead vocals), Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion/backing vocals), Fred Tackett (guitar) and Tony Leone (drums), 'Midnight Flight' has a trademark Little Feat syncopated groove, ear worm horn melody, love struck lyrics, and a blistering Sharrard guitar solo, which in all, make it yet another remarkable addition to the Little Feat canon.

Known as the progenitors of the Deathgaze genre, that descriptor is evolving as Kardashev continually explores and pushes boundaries, once again setting yet another high-water mark for the dynamic quartet with eight sonically and lyrically immersive songs on their latest album, 'Alunea', due out on Saturday 26th April via Metal Blade Records, of which the band's third song released from the album, 'Seed of the Night', is also one of today's six of the best 'Saturday Rocks!'
