Next year, the weekend of the 12th and 13th September sees the inaugural HRH Goth (featuring HRH Industrial experience) hit London's 02 Kentish Town Forum as well as Sheffield's 02 Academy simultaneously. Revered legends of Gothic Rock, Fields of the Nephilim, are joined by pioneers of the Goth Metal movement, My Dying Bride, plus International industrial band KMFDM. If those legends of the genre weren’t enough, there's also Welsh wizard Jayce Lewis, Post-Punk dark-wavers from Brighton Grooving in Green, German Industrial Metallers Rave the Reqviem, Portsmouth based Electronic-Punkers Seething Akira, Industrial Goth outfit Auger, Gothic Rockers Red Sun Revival, Goth-Electronica-Punk-Spacerock band The Webb and New Romantic Industrial hybrids Massive Ego. Completing the incredible line-up are Metallers Sometime The Wolf, Post-Punk Industrial St Lucifer, Londoners Drownd and London Stoner-Doom-Goth merchants Cold in Berlin.

Flying Colors release their brand new album ‘Third Degree’ on Friday 4th October via Music Theories Recordings. Whenever guitarist Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, ex-Kansas), drummer Mike Portnoy (Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater, Transatlantic), keyboardist/vocalist Neal Morse (Transatlantic, ex-Spock’s Beard, and a prolific solo artist in his own right), bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs, ex-Joe Satriani) and powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Casey McPherson (Alpha Rev, The Sea Within) - are able to conjoin their collective talents, the result is a sweet sonic bouillabaisse that reflects where their inherent mastery of melody intersects with top-shelf Progressive musicianship. ‘Third Degree’ builds upon the genre-bending momentum of 2012’s self-titled 'Flying Colors' and the aural-template ascension of 2014’s 'Second Nature'. From the skittery Psychedelic/Classical turnaround of the lead single 'More' (Video Of The Day) to the Beach Boys-meet-Asia vibe of 'Love Letter' to the deep emotionality of the album-ending, Prog-leaning epic 'Crawl', the nine tracks that comprise 'Third Degree' signify just how much Flying Colors are willing to explore new frontiers.

Today's Rock On The Ridge Track Of The Day includes music from Crobot, Revival Black, White Raven Down, Phil Campbell, Everyday Heroes, Austin Gold, The 69 Eyes, The Autumn Killers, The New Roses, Gorilla Riot, Airbourne, Saxon, The Wild, Black Whiskey, Tainted Lady, Pearl Handled Revolver, Gin Annie, Scarlet Rebels, The Lazys, Silent Theory, Saving Abel, Chris Cornell, and on their Introducing Stage, two tracks from the forthcoming album 'Redemption' by Big River.

With the Bury St Edmunds Blues Festival taking place at The Apex on Saturday 1st September, best to make a note of the following times and running order. Mojo Preachers kick off proceedings at 2pm, followed by Lee Ainley's Blues Storm (2.50pm), Southbound (3.45pm), Connor Selby Band (4.45pm), Zal Cleminson's Sin'Dogs (5.50pm), Stevie Nimmo Trio (7.10pm) and finally headliner's Nine Below Zero (8.30pm till 10pm).

Circles Around The Sun and Joe Russo will release a new four song EP simply entitled, 'Circles Around The Sun Meets Joe Russo' on Friday 18th October. The electrifying collection stems from a completely improvised recording session at Russo's Brooklyn studio earlier this year. The collaboration, which has been kept secret, was mixed by legendary recording engineer Jim Scott whose Grammy Award-winning work includes albums by Tom Petty and Tedeschi Trucks Band, plus CATS's bassist Dan Horne who has an impressive production/mixing discography in his own right with artists like Cass McCombs, Allah-Las and Mapache. The band have also added eight dates to their US tour in October and December, and their first single from the EP, 'Peace Reprise', is today's Video Of The Day.

Today's Blues On The Radio Track Of The Day previews The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, including Rainbreakers (pictured), The Achievers, The Voodoo Sheiks, Dan Burnett, Geoff Achison, George Shovlin & The Radars, Dave Ferra, Terri Shaltiel, Big Wolf Band with Zoe Green, The Head Hunters Blues Band, Paul Lamb & The King Snakes, Danny Bryant and The Marcus Lazarus Band.

The Dead Daisies pride themselves on being an ass-kicking Rock band very much of today who love to celebrate the history of amazing music. In short, the band are fans of Rock and always will be. Every one of the bands albums to date has had at least one cover song on it drawn from great songs from all eras, from the early Blues greats to the classic Rockers and heavy-hitters of later times. It's a collection of covers from a long list of some of their favourite tunes, some bonafide classics - or simply songs that made us all smile, sweat and scream, band and audience alike. These are done Daisies style, with big guitars, big vocals and always a bit of dirt under their Doug Aldrich, Jackie Barnes, Deen Castronovo, John Corabi, Richard Fortus, David Lowy, Marco Mendoza, Dizzy Reed, Jon Stevens and Brian Tichy fingernails, just the way they like it which is why they always love to mix up the setlist and throw them into their live shows. Cranium crunching young Greek Thrash Metal quintet Domination Inc will release their stonking sophomore album ‘Memoir 414’ through Steamhammer/SPV on Friday 23rd August, and their awesome first single ‘The Sickening’ is today's Track Of The Day. It's a milestone album patently at the cutting edge of modern Thrash Metal music, all set to more than make a difference when it blasts into the extreme Metal world’s heady stratosphere. Domination Inc were formed in Athens in 2012 by teenage brothers Alpha and Ares Karatzas (drummer and guitarist, respectively), vocalist Theo Papadopoulos, guitarist Kostas Evangeliou and bassist Jim Kakes. Their debut album, ‘Infants Of Thrash’, released in 2014, won rave reviews in the Greek Metal media and gradually began working its way into the international media’s consciousness while the band honed their razor sharp live set down supporting such heavyweights as Kreator, Annihilator, Behemoth, Decapitated and Sepultura. In 2016 Domination Inc won the Greek ‘Wacken Metal Battle’ finals, securing a main stage appearance at Wacken in Germany in 2017, which ultimately led to the ensemble inking with SPV.

Matt Pearce & The Mutiny recently released a radio edit of the title track of their hugely successful debut album 'Gotta Get Home', ahead of their national November/December tour, as special guests of the Laurence Jones Band, which includes London's Oslo on Saturday 23rd November. Just a day after 'Gotta Get Home’ was released in May through Mutinear Records, it was #1 in the Amazon Best Selling Blues Albums and Hot New Releases charts, and has gone on to glean an impressive array of glowing reviews from the Blues and Rock press. The single has also been play listed by Planet Rock, and as you'd expect, given the energy and musical talent invested in the project, the band's first bold steps into the live arena have been a resounding success, with a series of storming festival appearances, such as at HRH Blues in April 2019, preceded by Winterstorm 2018 and The British Blues Invasion in Moscow in November 2018. The band are also headlining at London's Thousand Island (Upstairs at The Garage) on Thursday 26th September.

Today's Video Of The Day is 'Chasin' Me' from US-Australian singer-songwriter Caroline Jones, one of Country's hottest rising stars, which was recently released in Australia and the UK on the Indie label Social Family Records. 'Chasin' Me' follows the release in June of her beautiful acoustic track, 'Country Girl' - a sequel to a track from her yet-to-be-released album 'Bare Feet'. The music video for 'Chasin’ Me' is a continuation of the storyline from 'The Difference' (out in Australia/UK later this year), which opens with a recap of the cross-country car chase that ignited a love story between Jones and co-star Cody Walker, as its tone transitions from a fast-paced Pop-Country rhythm into a slower, wistful sound. Jones’ guarded walls begin to come away as her persistent suitor follows her through Utah’s Zion National Park and ultimately to the coastal surf-town of Big Sur.
