From 'Caroline' to 'Rockin’ All Over The World', through the epic '4500 Times' and the mighty 'Roadhouse Blues', all the elements of a classic Quo concert are here and delivered with all the energy, power and humour of the original.

Brothers Osborne will release their new album, ‘Live At The Ryman’, on CD & digital on Friday 11th October via Snakefarm Records in the UK. Recorded during the Brothers’ incredible three-night, sold-out run at the famed Ryman auditorium in Nashville earlier this year, the record will feature material from both of the band’s studio albums - 2016’s ‘Pawn Shop’ and 2018’s ‘Port Saint Joe’ - including the US Platinum-certified hits ‘Stay A Little Longer’ and ‘It Ain’t My Fault’, as well as fan favourites such as ‘Weed, Whiskey And Willie’ and ‘Love The Lonely Out Of You’. Naturally, guitarist John and vocalist TJ Osborne’s current US Top 40 single and today's Track Of The Day, ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)’, is also featured. The band also made their debut appearance at Download this year, and along with their regular touring and recording band, they are set to reunite with Chris Stapleton for US dates later this Autumn, and will also open select US dates for Willie Nelson including the legendary Farm Aid on Saturday 21st September.

Today's Track Of The Day, The Wang Dang Doodle, is a four-piece Blues Rock band from all over Europe. The band has been playing around pubs, clubs and festivals, and is well known for the adrenaline high shows combined with great musicianship and skills. The band consists of four friends, Laurent Mouflier on harp and vocals, Kosmas Mylon on guitar, Simon Pires on bass and Francesco Cuturi on drums, who have played in the past as sidemen with artists/bands such as Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood, The Pretty Things, Nine Below Zero, and have also worked within studios and with organizations like Metropolis and Musician Union. Influenced by the Blues greats, they not only set upon playing the Blues across the UK and Europe, but also work on and write their own music, inspired by much heavier sounds.

"The concerts, played out picturesquely in the shadow of Stirling Castle in front of a total of 52,000 hardcore fans and featuring a total of 31 career spanning songs were clearly emotional occasions. The music Runrig played (that sounds horribly final) was a kind of full on unique mixture of Gaelic Folk and stadium Rock. The Folk influence meant that the subject matter of their songs had an emotional depth and range that made them stand out from the average bunch of Rockers and their Rock influences provided the power to wow large audiences around the world." Following a sensational 2018 UK tour, legendary guitarist Steve Hackett has announced the release of a 2CD + Blu-Ray digipak titled ‘'Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra: Live at the Royal Festival Hall’' on Friday 25th October via InsideOutMusic. The set includes tracks from Steve’'s time with Genesis and also from his extensive solo career. The album was recorded on Thursday 4th October last year in London during the 2018 Genesis Revisited Tour, which fulfilled a long held ambition of Steve’'s: to perform the music of Genesis with a live orchestra. The concert featured Steve’'s regular touring band of Roger King (keyboards), Gary O’Toole (drums/percussion), Rob Townsend (saxes/flutes) with Nad Sylvan on vocals and Jonas Reingold (The Flower Kings) on bass, together with special guests John Hackett and Amanda Lehmann, and augmented by the 41-piece Heart Of England Orchestra conducted by Bradley Thachuk.

Today's Track Of The Day is Skunk Anansie's latest single ‘What You Do For Love’ – their first new track in three years - and a video taken during the European leg of their 25LIVE@25 tour which stops off at a sold out O2 Academy Brixton in London tonight, supported by Black Orchid Empire. The band are widely hailed as one of the most influential and important British Rock acts around today, having blazed a trail as a politically-charged band who address both the biggest social issues of the day, as well as the tender moments that make us human. Their raucous and electrifying performances are one-of-a-kind and have seen them championed internationally as one of the best live bands on the planet.

At 2pm today the Vintage Sound Blues of The Broadkasters takes to the stage at Blues At Barleylands, Barleylands Social Club, Barleylands Road, Billericay, Essex CM11 2UF. The Broadkasters play Blues the way people used to, some of it low down mean and dirty, some of it grooves, some of it Rocks and boogies the place, all with a Broadkaster twist in the tail. Consisting of Rob Glazebrook - guitar/vocals, Nick "Slim" Hoadley - bass and Nick Simonon - drums, their vintage sound equipment and bespoke instruments help create a sound that is pure 1951 - could be Memphis, could be Chicago, could be Billericay!

"Always one to find a positive, this meant that bands in Sophie's and the Hobgoblin tents suddenly had larger crowds to play to. With a hastily rearranged running order, Cradle of Filth were moved to Sunday but the main stage opened just in time to get Anthrax on in their slot and our American friends did not disappoint, with a blistering set that confirmed them as still up there with the great Metal bands of all time. Now to complete the day, came the band that had a lot of people moaning about: headliners Parkway Drive. Were they big enough? Could they pull it off as a headline act? Haters will always be haters and you can't please everyone and you never will. Parkway are not one of my personal favourites but I stayed around to see what they could do. In fairness it was an excellent set, Visually the best of the weekend and they literally set the stage alight, even with the wind issues they had a full ninety minute pyro set that must have removed their eyebrows, as the flames were blowing back towards the stage and they didn't skip a note. Although I personally don't know any Parkway songs, the 'show' was a treat for the eyes and maybe sent a message to those who doubted their inclusion and they certainly held their own." The Magpie Salute release their follow-up studio album on Friday 18th October on Provogue Listen, and their first new song 'In Here', taken from 'High Water II', is today's Video Of The Day. When 'High Water I' was released in August last year, it was the sound of old friends coming together in a union of Rock 'n' Roll, Psychedelic Blues, rasping Americana and late-night storytelling. The band was pulled together by guitarist Rich Robinson, and it continued a storyline he began in the Black Crowes with guitarist Marc Ford and bassist Sven Pipien. Meanwhile, vocalist John Hogg shared Hookah Brown with Robinson, as keyboardist Matt Slocum and drummer Joe Magistro both joined him for solo records and tours over the years. Much of 'High Water II' was written during those early recordings at Dark Horse Studios in Nashville, which is why the album feels like a perfect continuation of its predecessor. Indeed, one of the album tracks, the Country-tinged 'Lost Boy', features vocals and fiddle by Bluegrass superstar and 27-time Grammy Award winner Alison Krauss.

Today's Track Of The Day is 'Idiots' by Swedish Sleaze Metal pioneers Crashdïet, who are finally back with a new record. ‘Rust’ is the band’s follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Savage Playground’ and is also their first album to feature their newest addition, vocalist Gabriel Keyes, who joined in 2017. Produced by founder member/guitarist Martin Sweet (aside from two songs produced by Eric Bazilian and Chris Laney), ‘Rust' is mixed by Chris Laney, who previously worked with the group on their acclaimed 2005 debut, ‘Rest In Sleaze’.
