Tracks include 'Joy Ride' - dedicated to their van which broke down on the way to the venue - 'Hate, Love', their first single and 'Never Enough', a slow Rock track full of attitude. Their new single, 'Come Alive', is an upbeat radio friendly rocker whilst closer 'Silver Screen' is a slow starter that smoulders into life as a hot rocker. A good set from an up and coming band that is doing the touring circuit and getting the attention of both Classic Rock magazine's ‘High Hopes’ feature and Planet Rock magazines." That was part of our take on Novatines when we saw them supporting Sweet in London at Christmas (Video Of The Day), and tonight they return to Islington, this time at the O2 Academy, whilst also tonight, Voodoo Lake are live in London at The Cavern in Raynes Park.

Stray and Ken Pustelnik's The Groundhogs begin a full UK co-headlining tour at Sutton's Boom Boom tonight, which stops off on the way at London's The Garage (including Vambo) on Thursday 12th March, and concludes at Buckley's The Tivoli on Saturday 21st March. Also tonight, Marcus King, who released his debut solo album, 'El Dorado', last month, continues his Winter and Spring world tour with his band, The Marcus King Band (pictured) at London's Electric Ballroom.

Jared James Nichols' and Collateral’s UK tour starts tonight at the Robin 2 in Bilston, Wolverhampton, which also includes a London date at the Dome in Tufnell Park on Saturday 28th March. Indeed, we were fortunate enough last night to be invited to a pre-tour Exclusive Party and Meet N Greet at Gibson Brands in London’s West End, with both bands performing three songs, plus at the end, Collateral frontman Angelo Tristan joining Jared and his band for a cover of 'Sharp Dressed Man' - today's Video Of The Day.

Today's latest Blues On The Radio Track Of The Day is another hour of music from Whitney Shay, Tas Cru, Half Deaf Clatch, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Donald Kinsey, The Reverend Shawn Amos, Mary Jo Curry, Jamie Johnson & The Lucky 13s, Samantha Fish, Robert Cray, Albert Cummings (pictured), plus Brave Rival and Dan Burnett, ahead of their repective shows at The Tuesday Night Music Club, The Comrades Club, Coulsdon CR5 2NF, tonight and next week.

The ever-vibrant, vivacious Brighton-based, Noble Jacks track, ‘Enjoy the Ride’, is today's Video Of The Day, taken from the specially re-recorded deluxe release of their sophomore album ‘Stay Awake’, which is due to be released on Friday 27th March on Noble Ground Records. ‘Enjoy the Ride’ is a song with all the upbeat tempo and feel that you’d expect of a Noble Jacks track, with a poignant and powerful message to give people hope in troubled times, written in the wake of a tragedy close to home. With more tour dates to be announced soon, their launch party will be the Jacks’ biggest-ever, an indoor headline show on Saturday 28th March at The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.

And that’s before you consider their ‘cover albums’ series (‘Master of Puppets’, ‘The Number of the Beast’, ‘Made in Japan’, and ‘Dark Side of the Moon’), which were all live performances – ‘DSotM’ being recorded in the very venue we’re back at this evening - oddly, my 6throw seat tonight is pretty much where I sat that evening in October 2005." UK Punk legends Peter And The Test Tube Babies are back with their latest and greatest set of recordings, 'Fuctifano', which will be released on Friday 6th March via Arising Empire, of which their single 'Queen Of F***ing Everything' is today's Video Of The Day. Remember the 70’s and Glam Rock? Well it’s back, on the right track and in yer face, as they share their love of that era with a homage to Sweet, Slade and T. Rex, combining all the colourful glittery pomp of Glam with the darker edge of Punk Rock. Since 1978, vocalist Peter Bywaters and guitarist Del Greening have always remained the Babies foundation, and they are celebrating with a party on release night at Berlin's Quasimodo with 2018 recruits Nick Abnett on bass and Sam Fuller on drums.

As part of their Distance Over Time Tour - Dream Theatre (Video Of The Day) were Celebrating 20 Years of 'Scenes From A Memory', which saw the band perform a full and complete 3-hour set, whilst Thursday night's Blues Review took place at the original Ealing Club - the Birthplace of British Rhythm and Blues - the original premises where Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies started out in 1962!

John Verity opened the year with an appearance at Giants of Rock in Minehead, before releasing his new album 'Passion', that was released on Valentine's Day (naturally), and tonight JV is playing London's Pizza Express in Soho at 8pm. Meanwhile, also in London tonight, Napalm Death (Track Of The Day) is playing the Electric Brixton, with support from Eyehategod, Misery Index and Rotten Sound. Hailing from the West Midlands, they helped establish the sound of Grindcore in the late 80's, combining bludgeoning Thrash/Death Metal with Hardcore Punk to create their uniquely brutal sonic assault, helping to influence the next generation of heavy music.
