"The Torquay 4 piece produce some excellent swampy Blues Rock that really made them stand out from the crowd. Barras sports an oilcan/junkbox guitar for some excellent slide guitar before switching back to his trusty strat for regular Blues rocking. Piano/keys from Josiah Manning bring a melodic accompaniment to the great groove. They were hugely appreciated by the large crowd lapping up the sun, and the excellent beers." Today's Video Of The Day is the dreamy melancholic single, 'The World Doesn't Need You Anyway', recently released on Anomic Records by Leipzig Psych duo, Camel Moon. Co-produced by Hákon Aðalsteinsson (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Camel Moon is the project of Yannick Siegler and Alexandra Staszewski, who are inspired by bands like The Doors, Velvet Underground and Mazzy Star, as well as Folk and Blues music. The two of them compose and produce their songs by themselves at home or in their rehearsal space, and indeed the video was also filmed by them during lockdown in an old bowling alley. Melancholic chanting, kettledrums and bass form a dramatic sad song that is simultaneously filled with suppressed anger.

Comprising of Grace (lead vocals, mandolin and fiddle) and Aaron Bond (guitar and vocals), 'Walking On The Wire”, follows hot on the heels of their previous singles 'Battleground' and 'Did I Break The Law', all taken from their their debut album, 'We Fly Free', which was released in November last year.
