    British Lion, the ‘up close and personal’ side project band of Iron Maiden bassist and founder Steve Harris, have released today's brand new Video Of The Day for ‘Land Of The Perfect People’, taken from last year's album, 'The Burning'. Although their Summer European tour in support of 'The Burning' couldn’t go ahead last year as planned, the good news is that British Lion have been confirmed for next year's Download Festival and are very much hoping to also reschedule some other European club and festival dates.

    A multi-instrumentalist recording artist and performer from Ontario, Immortalizer is the personal project of Dave D.R., who has followed-up his last single, 'Lemmy', with today's Video Of The Day of Immortalizer's latest single, 'I'm Gone'. Indeed, with influences from Heavy Metal and Rock pioneers such as Motorhead, Judas Priest, Saxon, Iron Maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Primal Fear, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy etc., Dave is currently preparing stuff for his upcoming full-length album, with an aim not only to create something fresh and exciting, but also with that vintage feel to it.

  • Trifecta's Fragments 17/5/21

    A new addition to the Kscope roster, Trifecta, the new band from bassist and songwriter Nick Beggs, keyboardist Adam Holzman and drummer Craig Blundell, will release their debut album, ‘Fragments’, on Friday 20th August, of which their first single, 'Pavlov’s Dog Killed Schrodinger’s Cat’, is today's Video Of The Day. Three of the contemporary music scene’s most lauded and revered musicians, having performed together as part of Steven Wilson’s band, the trio would jam together after soundchecks, forming what they referred to as “Jazz club”, and from these sessions the fledgling ideas for 'Fragments'were born. Leaning towards a fusion of Jazz Rock,the brilliantly animated video was devised and created by Beggs himself, with the track also featuring drum programming from Russell Holzman.

    On the subject of Ramblin' Man Fair, back in 2019, following her amazing Blues stage set on the Sunday, we had the pleasure of interviewing Britain's very own Queen of the Blues, Elles Bailey, which is today's Podcast Of The Day. Indeed, it had been one hell of a busy year for the super-smoky-voiced, hard-working and far-touring chanteuse, having just released her award-winning second album ‘Road I Call Home’ to rave reviews.

    Despite the sad news that Ramblin' Man Fair has now been cancelled, the good news is that another Kent festival is still going ahead, with A New Day taking place over the weekend of 20th to 22nd August at Mt Ephraim Gardens, Faversham, and today's six of the best 'A New Day Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day are taken from some of the many bands taking part, namely, Focus, Vambo, The Mentulls, Inglorious, Collateral and Martin Barre.

  • Tiger In Your Tank 16/5/21

    Los Angeles-based solo project and brainchild of vocalist/instrumentalist Michael Canton, Tiger Kid is back with today's Video Of The Day, for his catchy Melodic Rock song, 'Ever On', that was released last month. Taken from the Tiger Kid EP, and thefollow-up to his cover of 'Square Hammer' by Ghost, the video was shot in Downtown L. A. and directed by Oliver Filippo.
