  • Skindred Photo Gallery 2/11/21

    Following the re-release earlier this year of 'Roots Rock Riot', Skindred played the Bexhill De La Warr Pavilion last Friday night as part of their recent 16-date 'Showtime' tour, and not only do we have a photo gallery from the gig, including support bands Grave Lines and Haest, courtesy of Bruce Biege, but today's lyric Video Of The Day, taken from the album, is the previously unreleased track, 'Struggle'. As expected, It was a fun gig, particularly Skindred's trademark stage presentation in front of an extremely lively crowd when they arrived on stage, although this particular acoustic track, is not the typical Skindred sound, but showcases the band’s prowess as powerful songwriters.

    Perhaps best known as a producer of such iconic artists as U2 and R.E.M., Jacknife Lee's collaboration with Cathal Coughlan, under the moniker Telefis, will release their debut album, 'a hAon', in February next year, but in the meantime, this Friday they will be releasing their latest single, 'Mister Imperator', which is also one of today's six of the best 'Tuesday Rocks!'     With the awesome Black Orchid Empire playing London's The Black Heart in Camden tonight, it takes our minds back to early February 2017 when we saw them headline just up the road at The Monarch, and today's Podcast Of The Day is our interview with New Zealander Dave Ferguson (bass/vocals), American Billy Freedom (drums) and Brit Paul Visser (vocals/guitar) backstage beforehand. Described as Hard Rock with a soft underbelly, the interview went so well, and long, that we split it into two episodes - this being the second part where the guys told us about, amongst other things, guitar heroes, production, music videos, festivals and Petula Clark!
