    Next Friday, Norwegian Progressive Metal quintet Avkrvst (pronounced Aukrust) play Live at Downstairs at The Dome in London, the first night of their six-date European Tour, along with special guest Ross Jennings of Haken, and for today's Podcast Of The Day we go back to a very wet Thursday in August 2024 at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, when we had the pleasure of interviewing both Martin Utby (composer, drummer and synths) and Simon Bergseth (composer, guitars, bass and vocals), from the 2024 WRC Award nominees, after their memorable set on The ArcTanGent Festival Main Stage.

    Performing on the Kev Riddles stage on the third day of last year's A New Day Festival in Faversham, and led by the iconic 'Wuthering Heights' singer/songwriter's former guitarist Brian Bath, The KT Bush Band Sallie-Ann Hurst's (pictured) vocal similarity to Kate Bush that afternoon was uncanny, as they played all the classics, and consequently not only have the band been voted Best Tribute in our 2025 WRC Awards, but also check out today's Video Of The Day of their wonderful acoustic cover of 'Wow'.
