Corde Oblique’s Blossoming Shadows 14/10/26

Taken from their forthcoming twelve-track studio album, 'All’ombra dei fanciulli in fiore', due out on Friday 27th November via Dark Vinyl Records, Corde Oblique’s new single 'Senza Vento' features Andrea Chimenti and is not only a haunting Progressive Neofolk track about lost idealism, generational change and what can still be passed from one generation to the next, but it's also today's Video Of The Day. Led by composer, guitarist and art historian Riccardo Prencipe, the single began as a genuine exchange between generations, with Prencipe inviting acclaimed Italian singer songwriter Chimenti to perform on the song, who's past work has included collaborations with David Sylvian, Mick Ronson, Steve Jansen and Van der Graaf Generator's David Jackson.
