    For fans of In This Moment, Rob Zombie and Halestorm, last month Aussie outfit Hellz Abyss threw down one hell of a speedball, with their third and new lucky 13-track studio album entitled, ‘Blow’, an epic Hard Rock journey, with screaming guitar solos, crunching riffs, thumping bass and drums, of which the album track, 'Don't Blow', is one of today's six of the best 'Tuesday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further new and recent releases from Rodney Cromwell, ObsElite, London Plane, Arc Arrival and La Nausée.

  • Distortion Process 26/4/22

    For fans of Celldweller, Combichrist, Gary Numan and Rammstein, and strongly influenced by science fiction, French Cyber-Rock/Metal/Electro combo, OG•EZ•OR (formerly known as Entropy Zero), have finally released their new full-length album, 'Distortion Process', plus today's cinematic Video Of The Day, illustrating the album track, 'The Green Light'. Created in 2017, and halfway between group and film music, brothers (F-2301 on voice, keytar and machines and K-74 on bass) offer music illustrated by scripted video projections in live shows. Their influences are numerous and the range of proposed atmospheres goes from Cyber/Electro to Post-Rock, through soaring and punchy Metal sequences.

    For today's Podcast Of The Day, we go back over seven years to the Rock On The Ridge show with special guest Robin Bibi who has worked with such names as Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Ben.E.     Hailing from Greece, Symphonic Epic Heavy Metal band, Battle Symphony, release their debut album, 'War on Earth', via Soman Records on Sunday 15th May, a Metal Opera project created by Greek journalist, author and keyboardist, Nikos Tzouannis, featuring contributions from various vocalists and musicians, of which the single, 'Fire on Earth', that includes vocals from Tasos Lazaris, Nicholas Leptos and Katie Johnson, is today's Video Of The Day. Combined with genres such as Folk and Classical music, the concept album presents the sci-fi story of the conflict between the rebellion human army against the human and alien inhabitants of Planet Earth.

    Formed more than three decades ago in 1989, only to fall into a slumbering hibernation lasting until last year, Swedish Hard Rock outfit Nestor decided to reunite, reinvent the iconography of Rock and restore its glory in 2021 with their acclaimed debut album, 'Kids In A Ghost Town', an album of such impressive scale in fact, that Napalm Records has decided to re-release it on Friday 30th September as an exclusive Deluxe Edition, including the new single and today's Video Of The Day, 'Signed In Blood', the first of many bonus tracks to be included. Indeed, Nestor embraces influence from the 80s with a sense of nostalgia and authenticity, that takes you straight back to the golden age of Rock music, openly displaying their influences – from Bon Jovi and Aerosmith to Journey and Foreigner.
