A Perfect Circle co-founder/guitar player, Billy Howerdel, releases his eagerly-awaited debut solo album, 'What Normal Was', on Friday 10th June via Alchemy Recordings/Rise Records/BMG, and today's Video Of The Day for 'Poison Flowers', directed by Rizz from the VOWWS, offers both an aural and visual preview of what’s to come on the 10-song, self-produced collection. The news is accompanied by the announcement of a Summer tour, kicking off the day after its release, in Ventura, California. The six week trek includes an appearance at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and two shows where Howerdel finds himself on the same bill as his APC bandmate Maynard James Keenan, who will be performing with Puscifer on Sunday 12th June at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles plus Friday 1st July at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills in Michigan.

A monumental piece that takes the listener through various moods with juxtaposing tempos and grooves. The original mellifluous vocal harmonies were that of David Gilmour and Richard Wright, at this performance Kemp and Pratt had that unenviable task, but I am pleased to say they both did a sterling job."
