    Born from the ashes of the Covid Pandemic, Behind The Veil is a dual female fronted Melodic Metal sextet, originating in Belgium, who are back this Friday with their brand new debut EP ’Betrayed By Shadows’, having just released their second EP single 'Renegade', that's also today's Video Of The Day. After some lineup changes as well releasing two independent singles in 2023, they previously won the People’s Choice awards at both Metalworks Fest (2020) and more recently Mentalfest (2025), and are looking to solidify their live reputation with brand new songs, feeling and passion, given 2026 is shaping up to be their biggest year yet.

    We were devastated to learn yesterday of the death of Motorhead legend Phil Campbell at the age of 64 after a major operation, so today we let the guitarist's music do all the talking with today's Video Of The Day of Motorhead's 'Iron Fist' and 'Damage Case', filmed the last time we saw Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, featuring Phil (pictured) and his three sons Todd, Dane and Tyla, at Faversham's A New Day Festival in August 2023.
