Following their blistering set opening this year's Faversham A New Day Festival back in August, unfortunately Blues Rock outfit Big River had to postpone their Leo's Red Lion gig last month, however, their 'Big Christmas One' with special guests Gianni Scalera & The Jury plus Isabella Coulstock, now takes place on Sunday 18th December at that very same Gravesend venue, and for today's Podcast Of The Day we go back to that showery Summer's day when we had a quick chat backstage with vocalist Adam Barron and guitarist Damo Fawsett, discussing all things Big River, on the very same day they released their latest EP, 'Beautiful Trauma'.

For fans of The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, on Tuesday, UK artist Black Market Karma with Ruari Meehan (Tess Parks band) released a fun carefree slice of Psychedelic Indie-Pop, 'Aping Flair', the second single from the band's eleventh full-length album, 'Friends In Noise', an international collaboration rooted in friendship and spontaneity, due to be released in mid-January via London boutique label Flower Power Records, of which the track is also one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from All For Metal, Ike’s Wasted World, L.A. Project, Ammotrack and The Chop.
