Ho Ho Ho! Recorded and produced entirely by the band itself, that follows on from their first single, 'Ilman Kurssia', released in October ahead of their upcoming debut album, Finnish modern Metal band Koitos' second new single from the new album, 'Tämä Maa', not only represents a darker and heavier side to the five-piece outfit, but it's also one of today's six of the best 'Monday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from A Cloud Of Ravens, Destiny Band Oz, Tyrants Of Chaos, Nouveau Arcade and Antipope.

Levellers brand new acoustic album, 'Together All The Way', the follow up to their 2018 Top 20 album, 'We The Collective', will be released next March, and to coincide with it's release, not only will they be embarking on a UK acoustic tour in February, but they have also recently released their first single, ‘Down by the River ‘O’, that was written by friend and collaborator Rev Hammer about the Great Flood of 1968 in Buntingford, which is today's Video Of The Day. With special tour guests Moulettes (duo), Wilswood Buoys and Jess Silk, 2023 is an extra special year for the band as not only do they celebrate their 35th birthday, but it will also be the 20th Anniversary of their hugely acclaimed Beautiful Days Festival, one of the biggest independent music festivals in the UK.

Next year, UK Rock band Empyre will release their new album, 'Relentless', on Friday 31st March via Kscope, having signed to the label earlier this year, joining the likes of TesseracT, The Pineapple Thief and Envy of None, and having just completed a UK tour with The Vintage Caravan, they recently released their new single and live favourite, ‘Parasites’, which is also today's lyric Video Of The Day. With regular comparisons to the likes of Alter Bridge and Soundgarden, mutated with Dire Straits and Muse, alongside the release of their upcoming album, the band’s music has also been featured on the soundtrack for new British film, ‘A Touch of Vengeance’ which is out now and available on Amazon Prime. Widely regarded as one of the hardest working bands of the past few years, Empyre are already a firm favourite on the UK live scene, and 2023 will see the band performing at Wales' Steelhouse Festival in July, with the likes of Airbourne, Blue Pills and The Answer. Before then though, the band will host a couple of very special events prior to the 'Relentless' album launch on Saturday 11th March, in their home town of Northampton.

Breaking the moulds of any one genre, and for fans of Bad Omens, Flyleaf, Halestorm, Conquer Divide and The Pretty Reckless, Charlotte, North Carolina four-piece Rock band, Forever May Fall, were founded in 2017 by vocalist and songwriter Jillyan “Fox” Brennan, and with one album down, a lineup change, and a global pandemic abruptly halting momentum, the band came back swinging this year with their hiatus breaking single, 'Aftermath', released in February, and their latest release, 'Take It Out On Me', is one of today's six of the best 'Sunday Rocks!' Last Saturday, The Rock Cooperative hosted an awesome double-headline bill at Leo's Red Lion in Gravesend, featuring local boys, Collateral, who have enjoyed a Summer of festivals and touring with The Treatment, Reckless Love, H.E.A.T, Mason Hill and Skid Row, plus the incredible Xander and the Peace Pirates, who made a rare appearance South to make their Leo's debut, and today not only do we have John 'Mr. Rockrpix' Bull's awesome photos from the gig, but we also have our Peace Pirates 'Mindscape' Video Of The Day, filmed on the night.

Following the outstanding success of last January's sold out HRH NWOCR, HRH NWOCR 2 returns to the O2 Academy Leicester next month, where they will stage another two day, two arena event, over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd January, and today's 'HRH NWOCR 2 Rocks!' Featuring the original bass player with the Alice Cooper group, Dennis Dunaway (pictured with Alice at London's Wembley Arena in November 2017), who is 77 years young today, ‘I Never Want To See Me Again’ was the title track from TBelly's second album released in October last year, and for today's 'Talking TBelly' Podcast Of The Day, we go back to just before its release for our Covid friendly Zoom chat with keyboard player and joint lead vocalist of Slade, Russell Keefe, talking about his solo project including of course today's birthday boy Dennis.

We all have our own support band stories, so let us tell you about the time we saw The Stranglers at London's Nashville Rooms just before Christmas 1975, with the brilliant Jet Black on drums, who sadly died on Tuesday at the age of 84. As with every support band story, we were there to see headliner's Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias, who in turn we had seen excellently supporting Argent at London's Roundhouse earlier in March. If memory serves us correct, their brilliant set included 'Go Buddy Go', 'Sewer', 'Walk On By', 'Princess Of The Street', 'Fun Fun Fun' and 'Bitching'. With their iconic line-up of Dave, JJ, Hugh and of course Jet, they regularly played the Nashville (nowadays the Three Kings Sports Bar), and indeed today's Video Of The Day is a live recording of 'Peasant In The Big Shitty' from their headline set a year or so later. As they say - the rest is musical history. RIP Jet.
