Following the release of two albums, contemporary and experimental music duo, Leagus, were commissioned by the North Norwegian Jazz Ensemble in 2021 to write a piece for a ten-member orchestra, which resulted in pianist Herborg Rundberg and guitarist Kristian Svalestad Olstad composing and arranging the piece, 'Flora Eallin', which will now be released in full on Friday 28th April by Is it Jazz Records, and by way of introduction, the label has released the track, 'Hyperion', which is also one of today's six of the best 'Sunday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Flyte Risk, Elles Bailey, Grande Royale, The Bellwether Syndicate and The Backlash.

Following the UK leg of their California Dreamin' headline tour last month, the WRC recently caught up with American Rock band, Dirty Honey, on mainland Europe at Switzerland's Mühle Hunziken in Rubigen, so today not only check out both Jean Michel and Marlène Rivet's Photo Gallery, but also our Video Of The Day of 'Heartbreaker', filmed in Rome two nights later. Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, and comprising of singer Marc LaBelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian and new drummer Jaydon Bean, two years later their single, 'When I'm Gone', topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, making them the first unsigned band to ever do so. Last Summer they embarked on their first European tour which included shows opening for Guns N' Roses, Kiss and Rival Sons, plus co-headlined the Young Guns Tour with 2022 WRC 'One's To Watch' award winners, Mammoth WVH.
