Having played a crucial role in shaping the sound and scope of modern-day Rock music as a longtime member of the Foo Fighters, Punk veteran, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Americana and Rock songwriter, and all-round guitar hero, Chris Shiflett has just released his new single and today's Video Of The Day, ‘Dead And Gone’, the second taste of music from a brand new album due out later in 2023 via Snakefarm/Universal in the UK & Ireland. The single is a groove laden, two-steppin’ fuzz-fuelled mix of Rock ’n’ Roll with a classic Country twist, with the sweet dobro playing of Charlie Worsham and the swampy tremolo guitar tones of Tom Bukovac sitting sweetly behind Shiflett’s slick guitar lines and chicken pickin’ solo. Hot off the heels of a triumphant sold-out UK headline tour in March, Chris will also be part of Nashville's long-running AmericanaFest 2023 line-up, that takes place this September.
