Compared to Mott The Hoople, Hanoi Rocks and David Bowie, with a big power ballad orchestral part driving it, UK Glam Rock outfit, Tremendous, release their next single, 'Fingerprints', on Friday 4th August, which is also today's lyric Video Of The Day. The Birmingham outfit's debut album, 'Relentless', was recorded with producers such as Gavin Monaghan (Kings Of Leon, Robert Plant, The Editors), with their last two singles not only being nominated as Tracks Of The Week in Classic Rock Magazine, but also having been featured on both the BBC and Planet Rock, to name but a few.

Tracks Of The Day showcase six of the many great bands taking part, namely Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, Jordan Red, Skinny Knowledge, The Hot Damn!, not forgetting of course the aforementioned Glenn Hughes and Airbourne.

Described as Moondog meets Satie under the influence of Bacchus, Athens' Chris Koutsogiannis aka Voodoo Drummer's latest track, 'Afro Dionysian', accompanied by Stavros Parginos on cello, is today's Video Of The Day, and has to be seen to be believed, not only with its weird cello melodies on top of original odd rhythms and African percussion, inspired by the Greek Drama, especially by Dionysus, but also by the fact that the Wrinkly Rockers Club are honoured to be included in the credits (2.33), just after their take on Pink Floyd's 'Set The Controls'!

Now in its sixth year, carrying on its solid tradition of bringing both well-known and new Rock bands to Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire, next month Stonedead kicks off on 25th August with their Friday Party starting the Bank Holiday Weekend with a bang, followed by a mouthwatering line-up the following day (pictured), and today's 'Stonedead Rocks!'
