Now in its fifth year, carrying on its solid tradition of bringing both well-known and new Rock bands to Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire, check out today both Tony Burgum's review and his amazing photos of Stonedead Festival, that just took place over this August Bank Holiday weekend, starting with a bang on Friday, complemented by a mouthwatering line-up on the Saturday, that featured South Of Salem (pictured) performing today's Video Of The Day of 'Cold Day In Hell'.

Waxim 'Wax' Ulysses Mekanix is an American musician, songwriter, performer, producer, painter, photographer, and founding member of American cult rockers Nitro, and in support of his new seven-track album, 'Psychotomimetic', due to be released via Electric Talon Records next Friday 8th September, earlier this month he released the album track, 'Pillars of Creation', which is also today's Video Of The Day. Indeed, Wax’s vetted perspective and tested work can best be described as raw, bold, uncompromising, authentic and disconcerting!

After having to cancel their first UK tour in 2020 due to Covid, Norwegian Grammy-nominated Pop/Rock band Tora, fronted by guitar heroine and Instagram phenomenon, Tora Dahle Aagård, is finally set for the UK next month, with two exclusive shows, firstly at Guilford's Boileroom on Sunday 24th September, followed by Putney's Half Moon in London the following night, and today's Video Of Day of 'Waste Of A Pretty Face', is taken from their third album, 'Seventeen'. Celebrated for their raw and energtic shows, 'Seventeen' was released last year and features timeless and catchy tunes from the quintet, comprising International Ambassador for Marceau Guitars, Tora (guitar and lead vocals), who's also renown for her playful virtuosity and mesmerising stage presence, plus Isak Seltveit (bass), Guri Tranås (backing vocals), Anders Brønstad (guitar) and Magnus Galguften (drums).
