    If there is one band that combines a classic approach with fresh ideas and an expansive joy of playing to honour their ancestors from the likes of early Exodus, Metallica or Slayer, then it is the German quintet, Vulture, and their first single 'Unhallowed & Forgotten', from their fourth album, 'Sentinels', due out on Friday 12th April, not only serves as a blueprint for the Vulture style: wild riffs, lots of breaks and tone changes, furious solos, exploding toms and a big chorus, but it's also one today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Susan Santos, The Palace Of Tears, Savage Wizdom, Linda Collins and Greenleaf.

  • HRH Blues 8 Rocks! 27/3/24

    Next month, HRH Blues 8 will again take place back at its base for the sixth time, namely their home at the O2 Academy Sheffield, where they will stage another two-day, one-arena event, over the weekend of the 13th and 14th April, and today's 'HRH Blues 8 Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day highlight just six of the great bands taking part, namely headliner Erja Lyytinen, Jim Kirkpatrick, Troy Redfern, Wily Bo Walker, Jimmy Regal And The Royals and Ashley Sherlock Band.

  • Blackout Problems Riot Tour 27/3/24

    In support of their recently released new album, 'Riot', out now via Sony Music, that finds the balance with searing riffs and emotive choruses, paired with pensive moments and melancholic electronics, Munich-based band Blackout Problems have announced a UK and European headline tour for this Autumn, of which their latest single, 'Whales', is today's Video Of The Day. The tour will see the Electronic Rock trio performing the new album in full alongside fan favourites from across their back catalogue, starting in October with fourteen dates across Europe with support from Sperling and Lake Malice, before hitting the UK for eight dates in November, with support due to be announced shortly.
