Ahead of Tim Bowness and Butterfly Mind headlining this year's Prog The Forest at London's The Fiddler's Elbow in Camden on Sunday 1st December, Bowness will release his first Kscope album, 'Powder Dry', on Friday 16th August, of which the new album's first single, the propulsive 'Rock Hudson', mixed by his no-man partner, Steven Wilson, is accompanied by today's abstract Video Of The Day. Featuring 16 pieces over its restless 40-minute duration, it's Bowness’s eighth studio album, but the first entirely produced, performed and written by him, in a collection of acute contrasts, that sees a vibrantly accessible and wildly experimental genre-blurring assault, embracing Industrial Rock, Electro Pop, singer-songwriter directness, haunted carnival soundscapes and more.
