Ahead of two further London dates, supporting Robin Trower at Islington Assembly Hall on Tuesday 28th May and headlining the award winning Tuesday Blues at the iconic 100 Club on 18th June, UK Blues Awards 2024 UK Emerging Act of The Year nominee, Connolly Hayes, featuring Jess Hayes and Frankie Connolly, stopped off at Coulsdon's The Tuesday Night Music Club earlier this week, and not only do we have today John 'Mr. Rockrpix' Bull's superb photos from the gig, but we also have today's 'Hung Up On Your Love' Video Of The Day, filmed by JB on the night. Amplifying Jess and Frankie's dynamic vocal harmony and musicianship, the quintet also comprise Richard Clarke (guitar), Beau Barnard (bass) and Andy Wilder (drums), playing an outstanding blend of Blues/Rock/Soul, gathering inspiration from bands such as Bros Landreth, Tedeschi Trucks, Marcus King and Chris Stapleton.

Yesterday's very sad news that The Allman Brothers Band vocalist/guitarist, Dickey Betts, had died peacefully at the age of 80 after a cancer battle, brought back memories of when we had the honour of interviewing Betts' son Duane when Allman Betts played Kent's much missed Ramblin' Man Fair back in July 2019, and today's Video Of The Day, dedicated in Dickey's memory, has to be THAT song written by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend, performed by his band at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey, back in December 1981.
