This Saturday 29th June, London's 229 in Great Portland Street will host Manchester Post-Punks Witch Fever, Bristol-born Gürl and London Prog-Emos Something or Other, for a night of joyful expression and inclusivity, of which today's 'I Reflect The Sun, It Bounces Back' Video Of The Day, gives a taste of the headliner's potent sonic assault concoction, that recalls the foreboding darkness of Black Sabbath, Savages’ monochrome Post-Punk and the dirty breathlessness of Bleach-era Nirvana. For fans of Ashnikko and Nova Twins, or imagine even Billie Eilish meets Bring Me The Horizon, Gürl are at the bleeding edge of Alternative Metal with their sugary brand of 'antipop', while Something or Other are a queer, Emo Prog-Rock band. full of elaborate melodies and atmospheric guitars, creating an avalanche of sound that aims to serve as a refreshing contribution to modern Metal.
