Hot on the heels of the band winning Best UK Artist at the 2024 Heavy Music Awards last month, and following the success of the band’s award winning, chart-busting album, 'Smile', on Earache Records, ragga-nu-metallers Skindred recently announced an inspired list of supporting artists for their Smile (Again) UK Tour that kicks off next month (pictured), of which their 'Gimme That Boom' album single, that's been used as part of the soundtrack to the new EA Game Madden NFL 25, is today's Video Of The Day. Indeed, theatrical Metal band Ward XV1 were added to the Liverpool bill after they played a trick on Skindred during an in-store record signing, when Newport's finest autographed a folded piece of paper, not realising that on the other half there was a ‘contract’ saying “We, Skindred, promise to offer Ward XV1 a support slot on our upcoming tour”, which the band very sportingly honoured!
