The WRC were delighted to hear from our friends Walkway recently - and in particular lead singer Chris Reader. The guys released their brand new official music video 'Mission Impossible' at 7pm last night and hot off the press - it is of course today's Vid Of The Day. The guys were also thrilled to have Claudia Adshead (pictured) star in their Vid - given Claudia was walking down the red carpet in Leicester Square the other night as she also features in the brand new Sacha Baron Cohen film 'Grimsby' - also released yesterday!

Yes that was the tweet yesterday from the Brothers Landreth in response to John Bull's photo gallery here following their Garage gig last Thursday. Not only that, but support bands Elliott Morris and The Buffalo Riot also tweeted respectively "ah thanks so much! Very kind words, v cool of you :)" and "Thanks so much dudes, great words! was a great night really enjoyed ourselves!" re: Ian Cawthron's excellent WRC review here!

The Apocalypse Blues Revue - the new band from Godsmack’s Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola - release their new self titled album on the Provogue/Mascot Label Group on Monday 26th August. As the legend goes, Robert Johnson infamously started his career by meeting the Devil at the crossroads. By the same token, you could say Apocalypse Blues Revue (today's Vid Of The Day) began playing at the end of the world. Co-founded by Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin and guitarist Tony Rombola and featuring vocalist Ray “Rafer John” Cerbone and bassist Brian Carpenter, the quartet honors Blues traditions, while etching their stamp on the genre in blood.

We might have been a bit spaced out - but we're pretty sure that the first and last time we saw Hawkwind was at The Forum in London in December 2001! Anyway we have the chance again to see the spacelords on the Prog In The Park Stage at Ramblin' Man on Sunday 24th July as we continue our RM countdown with our Hawkwind Vid Of The Day!
