Yes with just over two weeks now to the big day we thought we'd add a bit of festive magic with today's Vid Of The Day from our friends The Strawkites (or Half A Kite to be precise) and Georgia Paris. So how many WRC members are up for the New England Blues Summit taking place at Cape Cod Resort & Conference Centre between 13th and 15th May 2016? Indeed, the WRC were recently tagged on Facebook by USA WRC member Dave Riley to see if we were interested in making it to this event which includes Saturday headliner Samantha Fish and Sunday headliner Joe Louis Walker. Yes the WRC will be represented on both sides of the pond at gigs this evening. Indeed James Corden was not very complimentary about Sidcup, Kent, on his American TV show recently saying "It's not the armpit (of England) but it's close". No doubt The Replicants (our Vid Of The Day) will show that Sidcup 'Rocks' when they play the Iron Horse tonight at 9pm (see poster below). Meanwhile Wrinkly will be taking in The Maine at the House Of Blues in Orlando. Expect a review from him shortly plus a flying visit to Los Angeles to put Corden straight!

Similarly to Dani Dorchin - Voodoo Room were showcased in our 'Introducing ....' feature in March. An exciting classic power trio, paying tribute to both Hendrix and Cream, they perform a kicking, world class show in total appreciation of these two massive pioneers of classic Blues/Rock!! Featuring Pete Orr on guitar and vocals, John Tonks on drums and Andy Tolman on bass - we're delighted that Voodoo Room (our Track Of The Day) are our next WRC Promotion at The Red Lion, Gravesend this Friday 25th September!

"Joni Mitchell's 'This Flight Tonight' was the first Nazareth single I ever bought and Agnew's bass was as tight as ever on this Rock classic. An honour to witness it. Murrison's Zep type riff on 'One Set Of Bones' from 'Rock 'N' Roll Telephone' was literally a classic head-banger as my air guitar mate managed to crack heads with me! No offence taken although Sentance slowed things down with 'Dream On' although they upped a gear with the Bluesy Pop of 'Holiday'. The mid-set recess continued with 'Turn On Your Receiver' from 'Loud 'n' Proud' - always thought that one sounded a bit like 'Last Train To Clarksville'! Back to the big hitters and 'Bad Bad Boy' which seemed quite appropriate for the Naz faithful gathered down the front although all too old to call it a 'mosh pit' methinks! The Crazy Horses cover 'Beggars Day' was followed by the brilliant 'Changin' Times' - Jimmy's riff reminiscent of his Zep namesake and similarly Carl stepping up to the plate - Dan and indeed Plant would give Sentance a slap on the back for his vocals on this one."

What with the news that Wrinklystock IV - T.Rextasy tickets are already flying out of the door and that our Wrinklystock III DVD/MP3 is now due to be sent out to those of you that have ordered it - we thought we would go back in time with today's 'Video Of The Day' and Bon Giovi's awesome set at Wrinklystock II in 2013.
