No Feelings
2025

London Punk outfit No Feelings wear their influences on their sleeves - quite literally, if their name is anything to go by. Borrowing their moniker from the Sex Pistols’ 1977 track 'No Feelings', the band channels the raw, high-energy spirit of first-wave Punk while injecting their own modern attitude. Their latest 'Selfie' EP, featuring 'Underground', 'Selfie', 'Top 40' and 'Miss Me', is a raucous, no-nonsense statement packed with jagged guitars, urgent rhythms and biting lyrics.
Frontwoman Sara, originally from Spain, brings a commanding presence and a vocal snarl that at times recalls Debbie Harry’s early CBGB days, but with an edge that wouldn’t feel out of place on a Sex Pistols or Dead Boys record. Guitarists Graham and Alex create a relentless, riff-heavy backdrop that carries echoes of Steve Jones’ thick, driving guitar work, while OPG’s basslines and Clive’s punchy drumming lock everything into place with tight precision.
The EP kicks off with 'Underground', a bold statement of intent, celebrating the band's DIY roots with a thunderous rhythm section and razor-sharp guitars. The title track follows, taking a sharp-tongued swipe at digital-age vanity, while 'Top 40' turns up the defiance with a snarling critique of mainstream mediocrity. Closing track 'Miss Me' leaves things on a high, packed with attitude and anthemic hooks destined for rowdy singalongs.
No Feelings will bring their high-energy live show to The Water Rats on Friday 28th March, sharing the stage with Lilliths Army, Healthy Junkies and Kath and the Kicks. If you like your Punk raw, loud, and unfiltered - just the way it should be - this is one band worth keeping an eye on.
